A Stay That Prioritizes Profit Over People Stayed here for 21 days. A few small positives, but overall, it's clear this place is run by someone more interested in cutting costs than taking care of guests. The Good: Staff were incredible No roaches or bed bugs (Only reason I didn't give it 1 star). Built-in bottle opener in the kitchen. Simple, but appreciated. Onsite laundry is available. The Bad: Strict check-in policy - They wouldn't let me check in 30 minutes early. Not a huge ask, but they stuck to the rulebook like robots. No flexibility, no interest in making things easy for guests. Toilet constantly leaks and refills - You'll hear it dripping and refilling all day and night. Refrigerator is loud and always running - Sounds like it's trying to launch. Room won't hold heat - Heater runs constantly, but the temp swings back and forth. It also makes a moaning/whining sound every time it shuts off. Kitchen with no dishes - Full kitchen, but nothing to cook with. No pans, plates, utensils, nothing. Had to go back out and buy my own after already bringing groceries in. No warning ahead of time. Uncomfortable pillows and a terrible desk setup - Bad for sleeping or working. Blackout curtains don't seal to the window - Light pours in around the edges. Cold tap runs hot first - Takes 15-20 seconds of hot water before any cold comes out. Keycard access is unreliable - Doesn't always work, sometimes takes multiple tries. One day, it failed completely while I was stuck outside with groceries. Even the main entrance needs a key card - So people checking in are often stuck outside waiting for someone to notice. Laundry machines require quarters, but the front desk doesn't have any - Was told to go to a store and ask for change. That's the system. Housekeeping is a joke - They claim it's every 4 days, but in 21 days I only had service twice--once because I asked for it. There's a spot on the key card envelope where they're supposed to note your cleaning schedule, but no one filled it out. Internet is nearly useless - Got 800kbps when it actually connected. Used my phone's hotspot instead. Bottom Line: On paper, this place checks a lot of boxes. In practice, almost everything is half-done or broken. It's a classic case of cutting every corner possible to boost profits, with no thought given to the guest experience....

Read moreI have traveled often during my 70+ years of existence and this is my first review. I felt compelled to write it because this was by far the worst experience at a hotel I’ve ever had. My husband and I were traveling with our two young grandchildren, and our flight arrived 9 hours late, at about 6:30 a.m. We headed straight to the hotel, figuring we’d have time to shower and rest before traveling on. We were “greeted” by an extremely grumpy front desk woman who informed us that we couldn’t check in because 4 a.m. is the cut-off for doing so. When I responded, “But we paid for the room,” the woman got annoyed and stormed out into a neighboring room, refusing to talk to me further. ||To add insult to injury, we returned to the same hotel three days later, this time with our daughter and our third grandchild (having made the reservations months before), and we were initially given rooms that had not been serviced. |Further, the hotel advertises shuttle service in its list of amenities on its website, but when my daughter called for a shuttle from the airport, she was told that none was available. (I have since seen that the hotel’s website does state further down that the shuttle may or may not be available, but it seems a bit deceptive to list it up front as an amenity and require people to scroll down and read all the fine print to find out that there is a caveat.)||After returning home, I called the hotel manager regarding the grumpy woman we encountered during our first visit, and didn’t get much satisfaction. Before even apologizing, she asked “And what do you want me to do about it?” I responded that if it were my employee, I’d fire her. She said she’d use the encounter as a teaching moment, and eventually gave what sounded like an insincere apologize.||The hotel is well-situated and has some nice amenities, but its customer service is the worst I've ever...
