Well out stay was not bad. The hotel was just fine. My issue is with management. We were traveling through, on a road trip from Mississippi to Utah. Once we made it to Utah the next morning, I realized I left my watch. I called just incase they had it, to see if they could mail it to me (honestly if they would have said they didn't have it, it woild have been no big deal. It was my fault for leaving it). I spoke with staff and they said they did have it and that they usually get guests to buy a shipping label and email it to them when they forget items. Okay, cool. I go to FedEx site and order the shipping label. I think it cost me something like $15-20. I then email it to the front desk and they respond saying it will be going out shortly. Days go by and my tracking is still sitting on "shipping label created". I email them back to ensure it was mailed. I get a generic response of "did you receive your package yet" instead of a confirmation that it was mailed. I respond that I have not, and get no response in turn. Two weeks after thr initial contact and still no confirmation it was mailed. I send another email and get no response. It has been 3 weeks and I have hear nothing and my tracking is still sitting on "shipping label created". I have since replaced the watch, but my frustration comes from how the situation was handled. If you had no intention of mailing the watch, just tell me you can't. Now I have wasted $15-20 on a shipping label. The lack of communication regarding the issue is also extremely annoying. On this trip we encountered 3 different issues with hilton properties (2 different cities put us in rooms occupied with other guests - scary honestly). Over the past 5 years I have exclusively traveled staying at hilton properties. I think i may be done...

Planning our stay here did not begin well because of the parking.

The hotel amenities read parking $5. per day $8. which was confusing but easily found out the $8. was the total with “taxes”. What the real problem was that it went on to read no in/out privileges! So I called the corporate number where I was told that it meant you could only go out when you check out and not multiple times daily. Well my reaction to that was to call that “crazy”. This is an unsecured and open self serve parking lot around the building. That made no sense. It took me about 30 minutes to find a number that connected me to the hotel and not a switchboard in a foreign country. When I finally reached the hotel is when the light got brighter.

From that point on, everybody at the hotel was nothing but nice and helpful. Beginning with Elyssa (sorry for the spelling) fixing the parking debacle (yes, you can go in/out all you like during your stay), Joshua at the front desk who was so helpful every day (5 day stay) and the now legendary facility engineer Señor Thomasso who replaced a broken garbage disposal, bathroom sink faucet and fixed a broken ironing board hangar all within an hour of notifying the front desk! That my friends is excellent service.

The hotel itself is fairly new and is being well run. The Airport location is far superior than the uptown one.

We really enjoyed our stay here while waiting for friends to arrive for our Balloon adventure.

About the only thing that was not above average was the Home2 standard “sammy” breakfast which gets old rather quickly.

The hotel and the area felt safe with easy access to the interstate highway and...

10/23/25. I am coming back to add to the review I originally posted below. I smell greed at the hotel. Along with the behavior detailed below, this morning at 9a a housekeeper is going around (including my room) pounding on the doors to see who is still here. It’s only 9am. Checkout is Noon.

10/22/25. I’m very disappointed with this hotel for one big reason. I made my reservation through Hilton 800 number. I had a free night from the Hilton AMEX card, and I had the second night paying myself. I made this clear with the 800 representative. He said he’d add it to the reservation, and that there shouldn’t e any problem. Also, I called the hotel the day before my arrival and made it clear I’d like to stay in the same room for the two nights, and I was told that would be no problem. When I arrived at the hotel I clarified this with the hotel front desk lady and was told no problem. Also I told them the credit card in the Hilton app is no longer good, so I gave the clerk my new card. This new card was used successfully.

On the second day all of the sudden my TV was cut off. I received a call from the front desk and confirmed with them that I’m staying. Thinking that was it, I received another call from the front desk. I went down to the front desk to discuss this issue face to face. The clerk basically told me she didn’t see where I was staying in the same room the second night and that the credit card on file was no good.

A lot of unnecessary to-do and a clerk who made it sound like she didn’t know all this information and that my credit card...

I have stayed in hundreds of Hilton properties through the years, but never have I stayed at one that was only a week old. The Home2 Suites near the Albuquerque Support had that “new hotel” smell when I walked in. The location is perfect for those using the airport, but it is also very close to I-25. Furthermore, it’s less than four miles to Center City if you’re on business, and if you want to hit Route 66, it’s only 2.25 miles due north. While there are not all that many or varied dining establishments nearby, there are plenty of Albuquerque’s eclectic one-off restaurants along 66. The 377 Brewery is less than a mile away if you just want a cold one or three. My room was letter-perfect, the wifi blazing fast, breakfast sufficient yet simple, the in-room kitchenette very functional for a traveler. I spent five nights there recently, and it was just as the name implies: it was my home. My only criticism is that the wifi will kick you off after a few minutes of inactivity, which is disconcerting if you are working and having to jump between online and offline applications. I figured out a workaround, though, by simply streaming Spotify in the background. The rate was reasonable for the city and location. I tend to stay at Hilton properties near the airport every time I visit, and this one will be high on my list for a return.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. At check in the lady that the check in was not very inviting. She ask for everything and my card declined because I forgot I locked my card(yes my fault) I unlocked it and told her ok I’m sorry I had it locked try it now. I had 2 rooms reserved . She tried it and it went through then she proceeded to threaten me saying you’re lucky your reservation was canceled usually I cancel them cause of no payment. Ok I get the policy but it was the way she said it. I have never been treated like that specially at a Hilton. The first room was great clean nothing wrong but the second room was the not clean. We pulled out the pull out and the sheets were full of blood. When we called the front desk the gentleman told us well we have sheets here you can come get them and change them. Um no we do not have to do that or have to touch them. He should have changed us rooms. When we checked out the gave us a discount for the room but no apology just yes we are aware. I asked for the GM to call me and she did around 3:00pm it turned out to be the lady that helped us the night before so of course it got no wear. So there for that’s why I would never stay there again. Here’s what the bed looked like…
