Horrible! Shockingly horrible service!! Do not go to the one on Gibson!! Especially if you or anyone in your party is wheelchair bound (I was with a triaplegic girl)!! First of all, there was no line, and about 4 people at the counter just staring at us as we struggled to go through 2 lobby entrances with a wheelchair, her backpack, and my purse, and NOT ONE employee helped us. not so much as hold the door for us, and they completely ignored us in the lobby! Asked EVERYONE around us... EVERYONE BUT US was asked if they were ok, and or needed anything EXCEPT FOR US!! It was like we were invisible and or they were scared of us!! The managers didn't seem to care at all when I brought it to their attention.. the regular employees cared more and were very apologetic... and to top things off, an employee who was picking up her check parked in a no parking, van accessible handicap spot in front of the restaurant to pick up her check, BLOCKING us in, as my van has a wheelchair lift, so I had to wait for her, eventually approaching her and told her she clearly wasn't handicap, didn't have a handicap placard, was parked in a no parking zone, and was blocking us from loading my friend in our van.. She looked at me like i was crazy, and the managers pretended not to hear our conversation... It was nuts!! I have NEVER experienced such rude and hateful customer service from Chick-fil-A EVER! The food was excellent, but we definitely won't be back to the one on Gibson EVER as my special needs friend was extremely sad and upset... She truly thinks it's her fault... As far as Chick-fil-A as a whole, we won't be back for a LONG time..I will pass on our experience to our special needs groups, organizations, any and all disability groups we are involved in and share on FB and with anyone who will listen and let them know that Chick-fil-A is NOT handicap friendly!...
Read moreJust because they are Chick-fil-A the get 3 stars right off the bat! The other two stars are earned with some smiley good service and getting the order right. This location has some of the rudest people! I have been to many locations even outside my own state and their attitudes are always upudy-up chipper happy! I don't know who did the hiring, but they should start over and go back to the basics. They got my order wrong, no big deal I'll just go through this unhappy Chick-fil-A drive through and it will be all good-- nope-- "you ordered the sandwich only-- that is what we charged you for" ... Hold up, stop, freez, oh no you didn't z-formation snap, hold the phone... Did she just... Yeah she did and I kept my cool and said no mam, I ordered the number 1 with a side of "the amazing" mayo. (I did not say amazing) She again said we did no charge you for the meal-- I don't think she understands the golden rule. Finally a manager or I assume a manager gets on the microphone and said we will have that right out for you pull up the the window. Window person 0 manager 1. I get to the window and he gives me the bag and says in a condescending way "can you check to make sure everything we don't want to mess up again".
Not going to that location again. I love Chick-fil-A as a whole!
There is going to be a new Blake's next door so I would be mindful of how you run...
Read moreMy daughter and I visited one of your establishments like we do all the time (4001 Coors Blvd NW Albuquerque NewMexico 87120). We placed an order through the drive through. My daughter drives a silver sedan ordered the #1 Deluxe with a sweet tea. I asked the lady what kind of shakes they had, she said, "vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream and peach for the summer." I then told her "no, I can't have peach I'm severely allergic". We got home and without looking to see what kind they gave us and I took 3 drinks, it was then that I realized It was peach. The tag on the drink of the shake I got said, "green sedan, customer name, Sandra". I immediately screamed, "omg this is peach" to my husband in panic. I do have a prescription for an EpiPen should this ever happen, I took benadryl immediately after. My daughter called the restaurant to let them know what happened and the manager she spoke with was extremely apologetic and she offered to refund our meal as well as anything we needed of which we never got the refund. We didn't want free meals we just wanted to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I am grateful that I acted quickly otherwise who knows what could have happen. Perhaps more training on these types...
