2 stars, but only for the kind employees. Helpful and accommodating. Very friendly people. (Really, they're 4 star people.) The room on the other hand... The walls are paper thin and every toilet flush of any neighbor sounds like its in the room, people talking and tvs can be heard. Every door closing rattles the walls. The room was disgusting to say the least, as lovely as the maids are, they lack in cleaning care. Mold and mildew in the shower. Pee? on the side of the tub. Dust buildup on the carpet edges. Carpet had holes and stains galore. I literally found an old dried BOOGER looking thing on the wall near the 'closet'. The ironing board was stained and burned. What is it with the power? 4 plugs in the room. Behind the dresser, and behind the bed (both of which compleatly inaccessible), in the bathroom, and by the door. I couldn't charge my phone, it took 6 hours to gain 30%. Thought maybe it was my cord at first. Went to a cafe, charged to 100% in an hour. Maybe get your power checked? The bed was firm, sheets were clean. Pillows were FIRM, a little too firm, but still, bed was Clean (about the only clean thing in the room) I slept comfortably, besides the noise. I guess you get what you pay for. A Wyndham classic. 👍

Great price for a modest but clean motel. My room was cute, and the front desk people were nice. The location is really good. It’s right next to the Imperial, where there is fantastic vegan Mexican food, a bar, and a coffeeshop. Other restaurants are within a couple of blocks, fun things like a tabletop gaming place, and great murals. Across the street is the very fancy Parq Central Hotel— go up to their roof and buy some expensive cocktails with the money you save staying at the Rodeway! The free ART bus line is right out front, to take you to Old Town or Nob Hill. Finally, the residential neighborhood, Huning Highland, is historic and utterly charming. I will update if my experience turns sour, but so far, I am really happy I chose this motel.

Very disappointed! Online says $57 +tax a night but I was charged afte a discount $107. Whn I asked bout it he said it was the wrong rodeway. Also very scary all night people & homeless hanging outside all hours of the night. May our stay very uncomfortable. The beds were stiff, small full size very high off ground making it hard for short people to get on! Breakfast was supposed to be included but do to covid they didn't have it, not even a continental breakfast! Very disappointed compare to other Rodeway Inns I have stayed at!

I travel a great deal to Albuquerque, and I am always looking to save a few bucks, with out sacrificing basic requirements ( like cleanliness, safety, rodent free, etc..etc..) Last night I chose to stay at the Knights Inn on hotel circle. The advertised price was 35.99. I checked in only to find that they had no rooms for the advertised rate,( I don't think they ever did) and they had fees for everything and then wanted a cash deposit after the room was paid for. The woman that was the managers wife (of INDIA descent) was obviously milking me for everything she could think of. I finally got checked in the room for $63.00 and a $25.00 cash deposit. While I was waiting for the key, these two little dirty, scruffy kids came inside the lobby trying to buy a ramen noodle from her, They only had 85 cents and she was charging $1.00 for the noodle she paid probably 25 cents for. The younger of the two kids began to cry, (obviously hungry), I stepped in and bought the kids noodles, chips and a candy bar. She didn't care if they ate or not. I knew at that point I would never return. I went to my room, and was almost knocked down by the smell of funk in the first room, I left the door open and went to blow my nose. I threw the kleenex in the toilet and it FLOODED the bathroom floor. I called the front desk, and she didn't answer, I walked to the front desk and requested to be moved. She became very combative and wanted to argue and debate every thing I said. I finally said look lady I didnt flush anything down your toilet, and I have been here less than ten minutes, she finally agreed to move me to another room. I walked into the 2nd room, and it smelled so much better, had better carpet, then I saw it. COCKROACHES, BIG Ones, little baby ones, red ones brown ones. I counted 11 cockroaches on the walls and dresser. I began to kill them, but was so grossed out I loaded all my stuff up, walked to the front desk requested a refund, which I was denied, called a liar, screamed out by her husband, and denied any kind of refund, or compensation. I was at this hotel for less than an hour. I am telling you, DON'T DO IT! I left my money, the hotel and paid for another hotel. And Guess what?! I found a live cockroach in my SUV, crawling on the seat. Dont put your bags down, or you to will take these nasty...

Traveling through Albuquerque, we were looking for a nice inexpensive place to stay close to downtown. Asking a lot, I know, but we found the Knight's Inn. Sure, why not?

The outside appearance wasn't grand, but it's the room that counts. We got checked in and found the room to be great. The bed was wonderful, the room was clean, everything worked fine. It was comfortable and felt great after driving all day.

We checked out the next morning, not availing ourselves of the Continental breakfast (toast, cereal, coffee) in the lobby. Instead of moving on we ended up spending most of the day in the area and decided to stay a second night. Having already had a good experience at Knight's Inn, we got another reservation and checked in.

Like I said, what a difference a night makes. Different room, all new problems. The remote for the television didn't work, but Robert at the front desk got it taken care of quickly. It was when he left and had to slam the door to get it to latch we noticed that problem (we hadn't finished unloading yet so hadn't fully closed the door yet). When I tried the dead bolt, it wasn't lining up with the frame properly so it wouldn't engage. Great. I put a chair in front of the door to at least slow down anyone trying to get in. No chain, no dead bolt, no extra latch. Just the lock on the handle to keep people out.

The tub was dirty along the top rim where you step. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. One of the beds looked like they had just remade it after the last resident rather than changing the sheets. We slept in the other bed. There was a pair of socks and some plastic wrapping in the night stand. Overall the impression was that they did a surface clean instead of an actual turnover clean.

And then the heater. It made noise every time it kicked in like the compressor on the fan was trying to give out. The noise would continue as long as it ran, and only stop when the compressor stopped. It heated the room, just made a lot of noise.

Most of it is minor stuff except the door. That's a safety issue. But compared to the night before it was like we were in a completely different motel. So while I won't say not to go here, I will say be cautious. It's hit or miss.

I did notify the owner about the door, and he assured me it would be addressed with...

This place is the worst ever! First after reserving the room to include a child I recieved an email informing me that an individual over the age of 10 is not a child! $10 more. Where on earth is over 10 an adult? Upon arrival I'm charged another $4.58 for cleaning fee. Aware of the day Ive had and that we picked this place for the pool were informed it closes at 8pm. (We've had such a bad day at the hospital as we are told we're running out of options in the care for my grandmother.) After taking 15+ minutes to register we rush to get bags so that my son may swim for 45mins. We get into the room (after walking up a skinny 75° stair case in a boot from surgery) and it was well over 90°. The room reeked of filth and urine. There were 3 very thin pillows in dingy pillow cases on the very hard king size bed. The 32" flat screen that was promised on tbe website was infact a 27" tube tv. The phone then rang to tell me I needed to go back downstairs to pay the $50 deposit? I paid with a credit card not a debit card why would I need to pay $50 deposit? I told the man how unhappy I was with the room. Because I came in the room at all thete would be no refund. During this time my son went down to the pool. This is a boy that has no problem swimming in lakes. He was so stoked to go swimming. After being gone long enough for me to be told there would be no accommodations made to better my situation without paying more still, my son returned from the pool. He wouldnt even get in the water because of all the bugs and disgusting water. We then left to return to the hospital. Praying the room would cool down by the time we returned. 3hours the air conditioner was on. It hadnt cooled down a bit. I proceed to call down stairs and was informed thats just the way it is and I would have to deal with it. I called back down and asked for at least a fan. 30m later I received a little effort. A man showed up at the door with a blue plastic fan. Thankful I plugged it in... It literally vibrated across the floor. I gave it back and he looked at his "personal fan" and it infact was missing a blade. He offered to try to find another. It was already almost 11 by this time so I pleasantly declined. I then sent my son for ice. $.25 for ice! Are you kidding me! I cant wait to see the...
