A couple years ago, I was stopped at a routing alcohol check point in Rio Arriba County. Though I had in fact ordered two beers with my dinner, I had only drank one. The officer gave me a breath test and informed me that I had a .12 alcohol level. I informed him that I wanted a blood alcohol test to validate his accusation. My blood alcohol level proved to be zero. My next task was to procure the services of a quality attorney. I concluded that Kennedy, Kennedy & Ives was the best choice. I had consulted with numerous others but felt that most lacked the confidence to challenge the Rio Arriba County Sheriff's Department. I can say that either Mrs. Kennedy or Mr. Kennedy handled the more serious court proceedings. When, in their stead, a junior attorney represented me at lesser routine court proceedings, they too were well prepared.
