DO NOT STAY HERE! First, just because its a Spring Hill doesn't make it ok. Day1, get told that there are NEW parking fees at $12 per night. I was irritated for sure, then after putting my parking slip in the window of my truck, their parking lot lizard comes by after walking inside, and puts a notice to TOW my vehicle on my windshield. Well the guy was too short to see the slip isnt my fault. I was even more irritated. To make matters worse, there isnt even a real parking lot to use half the time. Its unsafe, uneven dirt lot that all the hospital construction workers are using. Next, staff absolutely rude at the front desk, during check in and when discussing the parking issue because i wasnt staying quiet. The area isnt for this hotel, immediately next door is the Cross Roads Motel, where you have drug dealers, homeless and of course "night workers" catch the drift. So the likely hood of keeping yourself, your family or your property safe is very low. But hey they charged for parking. Next is security, this is a crime littered neighborhood in ABQ so they everything locked down to have to use a card to move around, good job, but they obviously dont care enough to go check because the back door is broken, good job dropping the ball on that. Lastly. The front EMERGENCY exits! They keep half of it locked. Need to call the...
Read moreSharing an experience. This is a good clean hotel. Quite even though next to a hospital. I thought I'd hear sirens all night. Not the case. Now for the experience. The hotel is downtown. All "downtown " hotels have their challenges. This hotel is connected to a Ronald McDonald's House and across the street from a large hospital. While waiting for an elevator looking out a window I noticed a homeless person bundled up in a corner of walls of the hospital. Literally looking down on someone less fortunate. As I was leaving the hotel for the airport that's when I saw the plaque for the Ronald McDonald's House. A great charity that doesn't make the headlines since they focus on caring for kids and not any other nonsense so many of us are wrapped up in today. Did I get out of my comfort zone and give the homeless person $20. No. I have done that in the past but I didn't this time. Yes, I'm a jewel for that. Did I make a donation to the Ronald McDonald's house? That one is a not yet. After this trip I will discuss our charitable givings with my wife and this will be the first donation one the list. So why the long review on a hotel that's more on an "experience"? My donations to this or any other good charity is nice, but if a simple review can generate more donations, that is...
Read moreSame experience as other guests… front desk staff is extremely unprofessional. As a Bonvoy titanium elite member, I have stayed at hundreds of Marriott hotels and this hotel is by far the absolute worst!
DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
I am so happy that we are passing through Albuquerque and only staying here one night because I would check out of this hotel tonight and find another one. Paige, front desk, has no business working in hospitality, a position of customer service or dealing with people for that matter. I called the front desk to report the filthy shower and she was very rude and condescending. She cut me off during the entire conversation and was very short. She refused to give me her name, the general manager’s name and hung up in my face after yelling at me after I told her she was being rude and short. She never apologized, however, she said I was being abusive to her. Somehow, she was able to convince herself that she was the victim in this situation when she clearly is the problem based on other reviews and other guest perceptions of how she comes across. Paige is clearly the common denominator. It is beyond me that she is allowed to continue to behave in this manner without any repercussions. She is utterly ridiculous and...
