I was on a solo road trip over a long weekend in October 2023 and had the opportunity to spend a Friday night at this Hampton Inn in Auburn. Overall, it was fairly nice. I was able to redeem some Hilton Honors points and got a free night's stay here which was great!||||I arrived shortly before 3:00 on Friday. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and efficient. My room (#312) was clean and comfortable... no problems there. It also looked like it had been renovated fairly recently, so that was good.||||In the morning, I had breakfast at the hotel which was all right. The only concern I had with breakfast is seating seemed to be fairly limited for the number of guests who were having breakfast at the same time as me on Saturday morning.||||All in all, this was a good stay and I got a comfortable night's sleep. Besides the breakfast, there were only a couple things I was not fully satisfied about. First, the indoor pool no longer has its hot tub (I know that more and more hotels are doing away with this, but I still miss being able to use the hot tubs in hotel pools). Second, I wanted to use the business center computer, but they are still using the old Internet Explorer browser which doesn't really help me much for web surfing I would have wanted to do on there. They really need to upgrade to at least Google Chrome for their browser.||||In general, this hotel is good and I would have no qualms about staying there again in the future if I find myself needing lodging in the...
Read moreIt is the nicest hotel in Auburn Indiana it's location is next to a busy interstate and noise is a issue in some rooms. Their is a indoor pool (a bit on the small side) and a hot tub, a conference room and a bisuness room. The reason I gave three stars is it is a bit pricy and I felt that since I am younger than the majority of the people I have seen stay there that I am looked at differently as well as treated differently than the rest of the guest, like I might be up to no good. They do honor military and give a discounted rate the room I had was 99$ before tax and 87$after military discount. Be sure to check in after 3:00pm unless u want to be charged for a half day which is what I had happen when I checked in at 11:00am I was charged an additional 44$ which put my total stay for one night around 160. 00$ after all their fees taxes and misc extras they seem to slip in on u. And the last thing that bothered me was they slip ur receipt under the room door in the morning and it will be more than they said it will be when...
Read moreUnbelievably clean. Everywhere. Staff was polite and super friendly without being fake and over solicitous. Genuinely interested in you having a great stay. I'd stay here in the future over any of the other hotels along I 69 simply because they are still serving breakfast and the county...15 to 20 minutes north of the Parkview North campus Has really LOW covid numbers. Excellent measures to ensure distance and making in place at all times. Cafeteria instead of buffet...they serve you... and the best part for the germophobe? THEY SEAL THE DOOR AFTER SANITIZING THE ENTIRE ROOM SURFACED ACCORDING TO CDC AND THE GUEST IS THE ONLY ONE THAT BREAKS THE SEAL. I don't know about you but I like that. Give this place a try out you haven't. Food and amenities nearby. Grocery and WalMart across the highway. Movie theater nearby too. Cracker Barrel and an ice cream place walkable. No truckers here. No screaming kids parties. No large groups. Just peace and excellent hospitality. Small town feel with big city amenities. ...
