This Culver's may have good food, good service, and friendly employees, but I don't believe anyone should support this establishment. What goes on behind closed doors (and even times in front of customers) to employees is awful. Here pay is based on favorites, not at all on job experience or how well you do your job or your position. The favorites know how Management feels about them, and will make it known. If you were trying to prove yourself to a manager, don't bother. They already have their favorites. Mangement also has an awful superiority complex and think they can treat their employees however they want because they're managers. Speaking of, two former managers demoted themselves because they did not like how they were being treated but upper management staff. Many employees have been fired for petty reasons, including putting "too many" mix ins in a concrete mixer. They've also sent home (fired) many people before their two weeks were even up. Also, even with a long staff list of over 60 employees, they do not understand how to correctly staff. At times, one is expected to do the job of three. As a former employee, I will say it is common to have had at least one person cry on your shift due to mistreatment. This establishment does not understand how to treat their employees with respect, even when most are young high schoolers. If you continue to support this restaurant, be understanding toward the Auburn crew. They truly try their hardest and are some of the best workers around, the way they're treated is wrong considering how much effort they put in. Oh and also, they have a...
Read moreWe used to come to this Culver’s all the time for their custard and food, but the past 2 times we’ve been, it’s been horrible. The first incident was about a month ago and my boyfriend ordered a chocolate shake. What he received was warm chocolate milk. $6 down the drain for a warm, liquidy chocolate mess. I don’t know how you can even manage to make a shake that’s warm, if you can even call it a shake. They must have put the tiniest amount of shake mix in the cup and topped it off with milk that had been sitting out for a while because there’s no other way I can imagine making a shake that was that liquidy and warm. Then we came by the other night and I wanted a concrete mixer with chocolate cake, oreo, and M&Ms and I paid the extra money to get an extra mix in and they didn’t even add the oreo. And then they proceeded to blend my concrete mixer so much to the point where the chocolate cake was completely gone in the mixer so it was pretty much just a vanilla concrete mixer with tiny flecks of chocolate cake and M&Ms. I never had any problems and have been a customer since they opened in 2019, but here recently, it’s just been bad. The custard here is too expensive to gamble on whether it’s not to be worth the price. It’s so inconsistent. Thank god Dairy Queen is done being rebuilt because I don’t have any issues there since...
Read moreThis is an above average Fast Food meal at a sit down restaurant price. A group of us ate here on Friday evening of the 2021 Labor Day party in Auburn. The parking lot was jam packed with cars, most of which seemed to be in line for a call-in order pickup or a drive-through order. It took about 2 minutes to move forward enough to find a parking spot and another 3 minutes of waiting to be able to able to get out. Meal wait time was about 8 minutes once we ordered, and it was delivered to our table. My Grilled Reuben Melt was very good, and the fries crispy and hot. My son's Chicken sandwich was also quite good. Prices are in line with what I would have expected to pay at Applebee's or a similar sit-down trendy table-service type of eatery. I also ordered the Caramel Cashew Concrete Mixer which was typically outstanding. Total cost for the two of us was $28. Great tasting food, and just might be worth the extra price, considering your other fast-food options. Table service, considering the "fast food" environment, consisted of having your trays removed, the table wiped, and pleasant conversation. If you are looking at a cheap meal, this is not your place, but you will find quality, tasty food and above...
