We arrived at 5:20 pm on a Wednesday and left a little before 7. We didn't even get to eat in the restaurant. The dining room wasn't busy. We sat there for a little over 20 minutes just for someone to greet us. A server walked by our table a few times but didn't stop. I figured there was another server that would be taking care of us. There were a few other tables with either no food or were waiting on their bill. It was obvious no one was happy. I was getting frustrated because no one acknowledged that we were sitting there, menus closed, no drinks, looking for someone to take our order. At the least stop and tell us someone would be over soon. There was an employee standing by the door (come to find out it was the manager) talking to, I assume a friend or boyfriend. She made eye contact with me several times. Finally after waiting another 10 minutes, we decided to go ask the hostess if someone was going to come and take our order. She went to get our server. She took her time to get to our table. We had to leave by 7 pm for an appointment. We thought that an hour and a half would be plenty of time to eat dinner and visit. After all they serve fried food... We ended up having to take our food to go. When we got home and took our food out, 2 out of the 4 orders weren't even right.
This was a horrible dining experience. I don't typically write reviews unless I'm extremely impressed or extremely disappointed. I also don't dine is mediocre, b rated, franchised restaurants and these are the reasons why. Food sucked, the service sucked, and the manager needs to be canned. If this was my restaurant half of the staff would be gone. Based on the other reviews, I wouldn't see this place lasting much longer. There needs to be some major...
Read moreThis was the worst dining experience that I have had the misfortune of experiencing. We walked in, and honestly should have listened to the angry customer walking out ranting about how bad this place sucked, but I digress. We stood up front with three other groups of people for a good 10 minutes, before a woman causally poked her head out from the back, came out, and just smiled at us while drinking a soft drink. She was literally just staring at us. We had to ask her if anyone was going to seat us. Then, reluctantly, she started seating people. After we got seated, it took an additional 20 minutes to get asked what we wanted to drink. At this point, it was 2:00. We had a movie to catch with our kids at 3:00 next door, so we figured we were good. We ordered 3 appetizers when the drinks came out, and those were brought out promptly. We ordered our food, and didn’t see our waitress again until 3:00! Never asked if we needed refills, and still no food. I explained to her that we had a movie to catch. It took another half an hour for our food to come out. It was clearly sitting out for a while. My southern chicken sandwich was soggy, and husband and kid’s food also appeared to have been sitting for a while. We asked for our bill, which was close to 100 dollars. By this time, it was 3:39 and we already missed the start of our movie, so we had to wait around for another hour for a different one. No apologies, offered, nothing! I will never go back to this restaurant again. The food tasted good, but the service was so horrible. I get that it’s hard to find employees, but this wasn’t cool snd really needs to...
Read moreApril and Elli are the only great servers I’ve had. They’re on top of everything and actually make sure your order is right. They both check up on you and I have no complaints about them. Wings are hit and miss and a tad bit expensive, but when they’re good, they’re great. Now the issue I have is with Melissa and the server I had last night. Maybe 6 months ago, we had Melissa as a server, we were a group of 5. I tipped her close to half the bill even though the service was horrible. Well she decided that wasn’t enough and put $20 on the tip line. We were told she would “get talked to.” But were refunded the $20. And then I go in and she still has her job. Didn’t realize you guys kept thieves, so that makes me a bit uncomfortable and I stress to everyone to make sure you cross out the tip line if you tip cash and keep the receipt. Then the server I had last night, whose name I can’t remember tried to rush us out the door. Me and the other person were only there maybe 20 minutes and she came over and asked if we wanted boxes when we were clearly still eating. I’ve been a server for 5 years, and that is one of the important things that you never do. Don’t rush your customers out the door. Due to that, instead of the 50% tip I always leave, she got a 20% tip. She also carried around my friends credit card between her fingers as she walked around the restaurant for a couple minutes before giving it back, which was very unprofessional. Hire more people like April and Elli and fire all of these idiots you guys seem to have to keep for...
