Petoskey State Park Campground — Hotel in Bear Creek Township

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! We tried on TWO different days to get in. We spoke with the campground office an hour before we got there and were told they had a spot. When we got there we were told it was just taken 10 minutes ago!!!!!! Second morning we speak with them again and are told they have a spot open for a week so we packed up our 40 FOOT RV again and went there and a guy in front of us in a 20 FOOT VAN got the spot because he said he didn’t fit in his spot!!!!!! We made it there in 30minutes and was turned away AGAIN!...

My family had been to the public beach area in the past but had never camped until this year.
