Lume Cannabis Dispensary Petoskey, MI — Local services in Bear Creek Township

I reserve my reviews for the highest caliber of experiences. As a person who believes in equitable exchanges of goods and services, I felt my experience at Lume in Petoskey warranted a note of recommendation.

From the start, I was greeted with positive and informative conversation. We discussed the deals of the store, but also about the possibility of alien life making it here to this planet. My conclusion is that we have so many issues with fellow man that whatever ET might stop in to check on us should probably not add to our problems. Thus, I felt a connection to the staff, as well as fellow customers who agreed with me.

In the Green Room (my term), Kayla was a superb Bud Tender and my new best friend (also my term). I walked out with over a hundred dollars worth of Fun Time Sticks, but felt informed and confident about the purchase. I’m getting out of Illinois soon, and it’s obvious that Michigan dispensaries, including Lume, may actually care about cannabis and the staff that pedals it.

My only criticism is that more Tenders (Lume included) get trained on how to communicate the science of cannabis. Then they may be able to give customers the pros and cons of strands, cannabanoids, turpines, etc.. I would’ve loved to know how each new product might interact with the brain/body besides just good/bad.

My husband and I have been Lume customers for years. All the stores we’ve been to have been excellent. The space is clean and cool yet still with an inviting vibe. The products are top notch and even if you’re not collecting points with the rewards program the deals are still fantastic, with a really wide array of choices. The customer service is always fantastic but today I had an especially great experience. The amazing woman (purple hair and I’m sorry I’ve forgotten her name) was so kind and helpful. I was able to explain my needs for something very mild and CBD heavy and she introduced me to the most beautiful gummy. I love this place! It's amazing! Tara 😇was very SWEET and A BLAST to interact with. I was IMPRESSED with her personality and knowledge. After speaking with her for just a moment, I realized she has many of the same preferences as i have! She was intelligent, and had knowledgeable answers to all my questions! I told her my budget , and I was able to get to most "bang for my buck" thanks to her guidance, I was able to get SO MUCH! She was very patient, and i just adore her!🥰 Looking around, at the many other baristas there, seemed just as fun and engaged as Tara! There's really no wait, because they are fully staffed!
