Studio 6 Belmont, CA – San Francisco - Redwood — Hotel in Belmont

Stayed for 9 days here in the end of May, keep your expectations low, like the price. The room is alright, decent amount of space. Everything in the rooms will be as cheap as possible which is to be expected, meaning the bed is rough, the Tv is small and has blemishes, the drawers and cabinets are crooked etc. In our room, the shower curtain rod was rusted almost all the way through and was just barely hanging on, and the toilet has a interesting flush mechanism that often comes apart needing repair. There is a kitchenette in room, with a burner, fridge and microwave, non of which work very well. Even on the coldest setting, the fridge did not get very cold, and there was a leak in the seal of the freezer meaning tons of ice build up. Only one of the two burners worked, and the microwave is not full size. They do provide a set of tableware, dishes, pots and pans and strainers. We encountered 2 cockroaches during our stay, but no bed bugs, so not too bad considering the type of hotel. The double pane, double windows were nice on the upper floor to kill outside noise, but I noticed that set up did not seem to exist on the bottom floor, so keep that in mind. They are pet friendly, no issues there if you are traveling with a pet, just remember that you will hear pet noises often while staying here. The walls are very thin, and the noise from the plumbing and hall noise is incredibly loud, so bring some earplugs. Everyone staying here was fine, we had no issues with any kind of dangerous people or situations, just normal people doing their thing. The staff was cool, and reasonable, no issues...

The room was really not clean. The floor was weirdly sticky and slippery everywhere, like soap had been poured on it, moved around, and not wiped up? No idea what actually happened there, it was really gross. The blanket had black powder in various places, and there was a huge lump of hair in the bed. Brown stains on the furniture that I was able to wipe with a wet rag.

I really love the motel 6 chain and happily accept some flaws for the great prices, but this was really disgusting.

Front desk person was very nice, easy check in, and he gave us new blankets since the old one was dirty.

Will be telling everyone to avoid though, and it has really made me question my trust of the brand, which I usually feel provides limited services but is always at least...

Must be one of the Best and not so Expensive Studio available around in the Bay Area!

You can have privacy, security, kitchen, microwave, kitchen towels, plates, silverwares, everything!! It was just missing detergent to wash the dishes and a sponge, other than that it was like my own place and it felt like almost home...

I wish we could stay longer than a month! I'm sure that now a lot people would pay for the Studio if they could stay! Feels secure with the cameras and heavy doors, plus the people there are really nice! I've been there with my family and that was great for our stay. It was a good place to check it out. Ask for Studio! It's a better quality room compare to regular one if you enjoy to cook and have a bigger...
