Cindy was incredibly rude and refused to help. She ignored me through 3 transaction while I wanted patiently. When I asked her to call for help she became ride and frustrated. she said there's another employee but has no idea where they are. She was acting like they were not working so I asked for the name of the employee. She refused and then started helping another customer check out.
After she called for the other employee and I spoke to them they were super helpful. They should be in the front while Cindy is in the back away from customers if asking for the location of one item I'd that stressful. I did not appreciate her framing it as if she's the only one working.
I love 5 below usually and I've bought this product multiple times here. I looked for 30 minutes before asking for help. The nice and helpful employee that Cindy tried to blame for not working found it immediately.
I planned to buy other things here but since I'm too much trouble I guess I will shop online for those things. I told the one item I needed and left. Why would I shop somewhere please get frustrated and rude when asked for help other than just bringing somebody out at what is essentially a self checkout. It's real bummer cuz I've shopped here plenty of times and didn't need any help. The first time I need help is when I find out how the employees really feel about their company and their job. It's sad to see such an unhappy employee ruin the shopping experience...

We came here about a month ago, family was visiting from out of state, and we felt very uncomfortable and racially profiled. There were plenty of people (all the Caucasians) self checking them selves out, and when it was our turn the employee told us she could help us check out. No one else was helped checking out, and when we asked why we were being assisted and no one else was, she stuttered a lot and ended up saying because her boss right there and wanted to look good.....Fast forward to today. The item I returned was missing things and we made the trip to return it. The employee was rude and had an attitude. She instructed my husband to insert his card and he did but I guess it was the wrong card. He went to go get mine and was given no instructions on how to proceed, she stood there doing something else and I had to ask what to do. When my card didn't work (because I wasn't supposed to enter a pin, which she had me do) she "hmmed" which sounded like a "did they actually buy this hmm" rather than a "hmmm I wonder what step I did wrong". I'm not one to ever complain but the whole experience at this location was very very unpleasant. The attitudes of these employees is not customer friendly. They have toys, things for fitness, t-shirts, smartphone accessories, candy, seasonal items and more. This particular store was very well kept, bright and modern. The staff was very friendly, in which we found to be at every location we’ve been to. There’s lots of free parking and is situated in plaza with other stores and restaurants.
