After 31 years of being a customer I had the worst experience. It started as soon as my husband and I walked in with the hostess. I asked for a specific area to sit and she said there's no servers available. I asked to sit at another area and she said that area wasn't available. I stated okay I'll wait for the 1st area I had asked for. Hostess responded in a sort of rude mode, "u can sit down and wait for 10 minutes. We waited and finally got seated at the booth area we wanted to sit at. Our waiter Jay came by and took our drink order. He then returned with our drinks and biscuits. My husband ordered and I was undecided to get crab legs or my usual broiled flounder. Everything was going well until waiter returned and said we no longer serve broiled flounder. I stated we were here 2 weeks ago and I always order it. Waiter stated let me go ask cuz it's my 1st day working. I said yes please do so. To my surprise the asst. mgr.(female) working comes over to our booth and states "I'm sorry, but we don't have broiled flounder, we took it off the menu since Jan. 8. I responded "I always order it and we were here 2 weeks ago and I ordered it. She just said no we don't have it. So I said let me look at the menu to order something else. I still was undecided about ordering crab legs due to eat being close to closing 9pm. By this time I'm very hungry and upset. I just ordered a bowl of clam chowder soup. I could hear a group of people towards the back area. I told my husband, they don't care for our service since they will be making more money with the group of people. The waiter brings out our food and apologizes and I tell him it's okay, they don't really care about customer service. He proceeds to tell me that this manager only does culinary. I then hear the large group singing Happy Birthday. I tell my husband "I was right about large group back there celebrating something". I guess the other managers that have been working other times do care about customer service, cuz I always get my broiled flounder and I guess it's not culinary. Wow, she sure is not a chef. So my dinner was ruined needless to say as we walked in by hostess and then asst. mgr. Hope my next visit is better and I will not go have dinner after 8pm since I felt rushed out of there by her attitude. Our waiter was awesome for being his 1st...
Read moreJust left at 9:15 on 04/01/2021. We had a $220 tab. The food was cold and overcooked. The server was not up to par. Took about 10 minutes to acknowledge us after we were seated; about 10-15 minutes to get our drinks. The restaurant was not full. I'm a server so I still left him a 15% tip so our tab totaled $256.00 If he was a trainee, others should have helped. I saw a different server walking around "cleaning" and I'm sure heard us but never offered help. Our server forgot various things when he brought our food. No shell cracker and butter for the crabs legs or for my lobster, no ketchup for fries, no lemon for fish. I asked for water with lemon with my pina colada when we first gave our drink orders and he never brought it. After the third time that I asked for it he brought it without the lemon, so I couldn't drink it. He disappeared. We got up to leave as I have a disabled son who was falling asleep and he finally came to table and I asked for ticket. He directed me to the kiosk to pay. I opted for the printed receipt, I had to go find out where to get it. Our dishes were never picked up from table when we were done even though we stacked them neatly on the side of the table. The other server did not acknowledge that either. We wanted dessert but decided not to because it was close to closing and he never showed up til we started getting up like I mentioned before. He was polite but as a server I was very disappointed with his service. We had been looking forward to going all week as a treat since we really had not gone out to a sit down restaurant in a while. We were seated at about 7:30 and left at 9:15 because of how long he took. My son heard the only other table in our section talking about how he forgot several things for them as well. I wanted to tell them but I was quite upset and had to wait until I could choose my words. And...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. This was our first time eating at ANY Red Lobster. It was my son's 19th birthday and he wanted Red Lobster. We had a party of 10 (6 adults 4 children). To begin with we had a server that was not attentive at all. When she sat us down she gave the children NO menus or crayons so my daughter had to go and get them herself. The server never checked on us as she should have. My daughter in law ordered a margarita and her glass was chipped on the bottom which cut her when she picked it up. She asked for another glass in which the manager rolled his eyes at her and said "of course". He didn't take the chipped glass he just left it there. (Safety hazard IMO) My son's salmon was undercooked. It was raw and slimy in the middle. He asked for a different plate in exchange for the undercooked salmon (Lobster shrimp Tacos). I ordered the Lobsterfest S&T Sirloin with mashed potatos and coleslaw and my plate had fries which I didn't ask for. My daughter ordered the Tuesday special (Lobster Shrimp & Salmon) hers was cold and given no melted butter for her Lobster the other was boxed to go (husband was running late). The salmon was super tiny approx 2in X 2 inch ( the to go box was larger than the whole meal pic attached). The birthday boy ordered the Seaside Shrimp Trio with "fresh" Broccoli and bacon Mac and cheese. Well he was surprised to see that "fresh" Broccoli meant steamed lol. He was expecting it fresh like of the branches (He doesn't like cooked veggies). So they brought him a bowl of raw Broccoli that looked frozen. We did complain to management but only got a non sincere apology so after a $230 bill I am sure to say I will never eat at Red Lobster again. I was very disappointed for the price we paid we expected a...
