I traveled more than 11 hours to check in to this hotel early and was told by the afternoon desk clerk and night auditor that I had to pay twenty something dollars to check in earlier than the 3:00 pm check in time. I was fine with that. I arrived Friday morning after 4:30 am to check. I walked in at least three or four times and no one was at the front desk. My husband said to go back in and video to show no one was at the desk. I did and the time stamp on the video is 4:57 am. We left to get gas and I called a few minutes after leaving and the nigh auditor answered and I explained to him that I walked in at least three times to check in early but no one was at the desk. I was tired after driving for hours. He told me it would be a charge to check in early which I was fine with. I was tired. When we returned to the hotel. I ran my card twice for $150 and it declined twice. I was told to choose US Debit. I ran it the third time using tap to pay and it worked. He charged only $80 to my card. I asked him about running my card for the remaining balance and he said that we wasn’t going to try and figure it out and gave me the keys to my room. The whole stay no one said anything about balance. I checked out Sunday and the same night auditor, another front desk personnel and the GM which was a female was at the desk. They asked what room was I checking out of and I told him. Still nothing was said about the balance. I received a call from him later that day from the night auditor to discuss the balance and I told him word for word what he told me the night I checked in. He didn’t deny that he said any of it. He kept saying he didn’t understand why my chip didn’t work but the tap to pay did. I reminded him that I was attempting to pay the remaining balance but he said he wasn’t trying to figure it out. On November 21 the GM called me at my job while my housekeepers and GM was eating. She talked with my Executive Housekeeper who knew the whole situation and was being rude to her. My E.H. called me to the front desk and said it was TP GM on the phone. While I was attempting to explain everything from the time I got to the hotel up until I left she kept cutting me off and accusing me of trying to not pay the remaining balance which was a lie. That’s definitely not in my character. She was very rude and badgered me into borrowing money from someone to pay $29.90 after i told her I didn’t have the money at the time and my payday was the very next day. I told her what her night auditor said the night I checked in and she was basically not placing any blame on him whatsoever. I will not be staying at that location because of how rude she was and how she kept accusing me of skipping out on paying when I was trying to when I checked in. I also mention to her that I was told to pay an early check in fee and she said no such fee existed. So someone doesn’t know their job. If I could post the video that I took when I first arrived when no one was at the front desk when I got there I would. Only photos...

Read moreWhen I checked in for two nights, I told the front desk clerk I and my coworker would be leaving at 5:15 Could we please get a banana and a bagel he said The kitchen attendant doesn’t come in until 5:0 but if I called the night clerk, he can start coffee and get a banana from the kitchen so at 3:15 and 4:15 I called the night clerk to remind him bananas could’ve already been gotten out of the kitchen and he could’ve already made the coffee but he didn’t even answer the phone and when I saw him at 5:15. The next morning he was putting on a sweatshirt and it was obvious. He just woke. The Front door Is unlocked and anyone could have come in that hotel anytime during the night so there was no safety.. Housekeeping was a zero. I stayed here for two nights the second day housekeeping did not leave me any coffee. I called front desk to please bring two decafs and two regulars to my room. She said no there was nobody working but her I said I have taken a shower. Got my pajamas,on and ready for bed she said I would have to come to the lobby and get it anyway so I put my clothes back on went downstairs and she said she had only one decaf. I said well I need two and I had two last night so she looked under the counter again and found another one. Marriott is definitely not what...
