Five Guys — Restaurant in Georgia

Let me tell ya, this was my first time at a 5 Guys. I went and took my parents. None of us were disappointed.

The burgers were advertised as 100% Beef, no filler. And you can taste it. My mom said "It tastes like you're eating a steak. Ground up steak!"

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that my burger wasn't just one patty, but two! It wasn't even advertised as a double patty burger. The cheese was melty, and the bacon was crisp and tasty - definitely not lacking any flavor. I also appreciated the many free of choice toppings available. I got the grilled onions and mushrooms. Perfect.

Last thing to know about the food, but probably most important, their potatoes are to die for. These fries are the most genuine, real potato item I've had in a long time from a fast food place. I ordered a large. It shows up in a huge cup, and even more fries of almost the same amount are in the bag. They make sure you get your money's worth in both amount AND quality.

As for service, the young guy with the dark hair and cap, with some 5 o'clock shadow going on was the most chill and at the same time efficient fellow Ive been served by at a fast food counter - and was very patient with me as it was my first time at a 5 Guys. I really appreciate that he was patient with my parents as well. Thank you for your wonderful work my man.

The establishment is your usual loud and noisy family atmosphere, very diner like and casual. Has a nice view of the surrounding shopping area, and plenty of seating. I would appreciate more room near the drink machines though, it got very congested over there during my visit. The restaurant appeared very clean and organized otherwise, and even with heavy traffic, they took the time to clean the tables instantly as customers left. I also found it interesting that you can purchase the potatoes, peanuts and peanut oil on site - the same ingredients they use; it's out of the ordinary, but appreciated.

Clean and friendly. This appears to be a relatively new facility. It's clean and we'll taken care of. When you walk in, walk up to the counter and place your order, you're grated by a friendly face. After placing your order you can grab your drink and have a seat whole you wait for your order to be made fresh. This is a grab your burger off the assembly line type of place. You can however, grab some peanuts to snack on while you wait. I was here during the off season and we were able to strike up a conversation with some locals. Always a good way to learn about the area. A couple of minutes after we say down our meal was ready to be picked up. One nice thing they do here is place numbers on the sandwich wrapping. Your burger or hit dog will have the number in which it was ordered on the wrapper. So, remembering who's Burger was ordered first will prevent you from opening each sandwich to figure out...

Foods always great! There's a guy with curly hair and ear rings who always impresses me with his good attitude too. I don't know his name, and I should have told him there, but I wanted him to know it makes a difference. There was also a newer young guy that had a fake grill and some blonde twist in his hair. I'd love to see him be a little more positive too. We listened to him say he wanted to go home, and sigh, and watched him pick up his phone and walk I in the back. I could tell it was depressing the staff. I love 5 guys and hope they stay successful, but a good store is only a group of good people. I pray he gets excited one day or finds something he loves.
