My two-night stay here was excellent! I was assigned room 521.||This hotel used to be a Holiday Inn. It became a DoubleTree on May 6, 2025 after a multi-million dollar renovation. It looks and feels brand new!||The staff member who assisted me during the check-in process (Landesha) was amazing. Super friendly, personable, and helpful. Great first impression!||My room was huge, spotless, and comfortable. The AC made the room freezing cold, which I love. The window shades kept out the sunlight. It had a great working mini-refrigerator, microwave, and safe. I have traveled to 53 countries. The bed in my room was seriously one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in!||The bathroom was a nice size and functional. Adequate counter space for your toiletries, shower was a sliding glass door enclosed stand-up shower with an adjustable shower head. ||There is an Italian restaurant in the hotel (run by a third party). I did not eat there.||The location is right off of I-95 and very close to many national retailers (Publix, Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, The Home Depot, etc.) and national restaurant chains (Panera Bread, Chili's, Chipotle, Panda Express, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Zaxby's, Chick-fil-A, Burger King, McDonald's, LongHorn Steakhouse, Five Guys, etc.) The practically abandoned Glynn Place Mall is also close by. Saint Simons Island (16 miles) and Jekyll Island (19 miles) are both about 30 minutes away. There is a $10.00 toll to enter Jekyll Island.||I loved my stay here. I highly recommend it this hotel to business or...
Read moreI just wanted to start by saying, this probably one of the nicest hotels you’re going to find in Brunswick. It was fantastic! We stayed the first night there on 07/25 and checked out Saturday. Initially we were going to head home but decided to stick around town the next night -super late choice-. So we went to another hotel and were so disgusted and disappointed with it. We ended up right back at the Double Tree. Let me tell you how amazing and accommodating the night audit lady was.I think her name was Allie? I walked in about 12:45 asking her if it was possible to check in that late and that we had a terrible experience at the other hotel and wished we had just went ahead and booked with double tree for the second stay to begin with. She was so understanding and helped us book our room online for a better rate and got us squared away in less than 15 minutes! Then offered me cookies ❤️ I felt so at peace walking into our room so late. The rooms are so clean! I got the BEST SLEEP! The beds are so comfy and smell AMAZING! The next morning as I went to check out the front desk manager, I think her name was Nelly. She was AMAZING! So nice and grateful we came to stay with them again. WE WILL FOREVER STAY HERE.
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING HOTEL.
Just a PSA you get what you pay for in Brunswick, so stay in a decent priced hotel so you can experience royalty not discomfort and disappointment!
THANK YOU to the staff at double tree and your housekeepers for making my stay amazing. Yall are great, if I could give 10...
Read moreThis is a fabulous hotel, of late becoming a DoubleTree after a conversion from Holiday Inn. Your entry is spectacular, with giant high ceilings and a fabulous welcome from Allison on the front desk (she’s far and away the most efficient hotel staffer we’ve encountered in a 46-day trek across country). Allison helped us perfectly coordinate our arrival with the room’s readiness, as well as weeks before assisting us in identifying just the right room type for us. Thank you, Allison! There is a spacious fitness room, new washer/dryers on the 3rd floor, ice machine on the 4th and a stand-alone restaurant just off the hotel lobby. We were fortunate to enjoy a 2-room setup with the absolute most comfortable King bed ever, a wet-bar, bath tub and large sitting area (with couch, big-screen TV, a door to close off from sleeping area and gigantic windows). This is a real winner. Thank you again, Allison — and a very good show all...
