Arrowhead Motel — Hotel in Burlington

Visiting out of town was told at check-in absolutely no visitor or visitors allowed. At check in the man at front desk was very very rude and condescending very un professional I payed with my Mastercard for 2 nights a I do not recommend this Hotel to any one 2hrs before check out I wanted to rent for a 3rd night and the man lied and said no rooms were available all full up the male attendant at the front desk is very rude and bad for Buisness there are way better motels by leap and bounds available I was also asked if I lived here in Burlington iowa Because they dont rent to anyone in town I would have not rented a room for 2 nights if anywhere else was available I travel alot for Buisness and I've rented rooms all across iowa to Florida and I've never had anyone be so rude as I experienced here I don't recommend staying here as for my employes I will put them up in a motel elsewhere at any cost I do not recommend any to the Arrowhead motel in Burlington iowa very Bad Hospitality very unprofessional Im very Disappointed never ever again will I Book a room here again or recommend...

Found a bed bug on my towel that was laying on the bed. Upon further inspection the place was infested with them! When I mentioned the infestation to them, they didn’t seem to think it was that big of a problem. They Didn’t even offer to switch rooms or pay for the dryer that I needed for my clothes! They said it gets treated weekly and shouldn’t be a problem! Well little did they know I recently worked for a pest control company and know the ins and outs of these disgusting little blood suckers. Tryed to offer advice on how to get rid of them but they didn’t seem to want to listen. Said they would have a pest company take care of it while we were at work, I don’t know if they did but when we got back at 8 o’clock they said the room was closed and they didn’t have anything else open. Managers don’t have any courtesy towards guests and who know why they kicked us out. If your looking for a questionable place to rest your head this is the spot! I stayed at the Arrowhead for 8 weeks while finishing my degree. The room was very nice and housekeeping always kept things clean. The parking lot is well maintained and there is even a grill for cooking out. The kitchenette in my room had a nice sized refrigerator, microwave, and range top stove. There were plenty of dishes and utensils to use. I found living there to be very pleasant. The motel is in a quiet spot that's just a short drive to shopping centers, restaurants, and parks. In fact, there are two very good restaurants right across the street that you can walk to. ||||The best part about my stay there was the staff. Everyone was incredibly nice and very thoughtful.
