MidTown Motel — Hotel in Burlington

At 830a.m While my 8 year old son was showering, the owner showed up, barged in and accused me of smoking because of the steam coming out of the bathroom (the exhaust fan didn't work and my son loves hot showers) and told me my son needed to get out of the shower. The owner leaves, then comes back 5 minutes later as I'm finishing up my son's shower, tells me again he needs to get out of the shower, waits for me to get him out, pushed past my son and knocks him down So I get my son up of the floor and the owner proceeds to take the trash (which is fine because I had it all gathered up) and leaves again then as I'm using the restroom, he shows up AGAIN, tried to let himself in, why I'm not sure, it was creepy and weird. Then the best part, I go to brush my teeth about 10a.m and he shut the water off to the room, why I'm not entirely sure but it was probably the most unprofessional and rudest thing you can do when someone pays $60 for a room. He needs to learn hospitality and respect for his guests, especially when the guest is so you rely on to stay...

The Midtown Motel is A TOILET, as my co-star (in "Slumber Party '57" Debra Winger describes A FLOP-HOUSE.) Tipped owner cash because door would not open, the key action in the lock was iffy. Next day I gave his child a crisp new $2-bill. I didn't see a maid for 3 days, & when the maid (the owners wife) did clean -- she was "A STEALING MAID," watch your property OR EVEN BETTER NEVER STAY at the dump. RUDE owners demanded cash tips & didn't do anything but position rude boozers around me to make noise - to extort more cash. One day as I drove out to work, their little boy was riding his bicycle around & around the parking lot. I look when I rounded the bend & slowed way down AND SURE ENOUGH THE KID SKIRTED AROUND THE CORNER INTO WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PATH OF MY CAR….obviously coached by his crooked parents to try to get hit for a P.I. injury case. The burlington iowa location is the worse motel i have ever stayed at. If you have a guest stop by your room to socialize for a bit. The owner accuses u of having too many people in the room over night and suspends the rest of your stay. If you are away from your room for too long they same guy will go into your room and take what he wants and deny everything. I thought maby he had a bad day so i gave it another chance. Same issues only this time he was more rude and came out shouting obscene things in front of my mother. I do not think anyone should stay there the rooms are filthy staff is disrespectful and thieves. Half the electric outlets or water faucets do not work and the "free wifi" gets shut off randomly all the time with 3 other non accessable wifi ssids for the same place.
