Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Burlington

We went in for an early supper (3:30pm) and there were no other patrons inside. We ordered the chicken alfredo pasta with breadsticks. I also got a personal pan pizza (Backyard BBQ Chicken). I thought it was odd that the server asked me if I wanted to add anything to my pizza. I said, "What do people usually ADD?" She said onions, veggies, and a few other options. I told her "No, that's ok, I'll just have whatever normally comes on it." Obviously, I should've been a little more specific. The description on the menu says "Grilled Chicken, Bacon, and Red Onions." But when it came, it literally just had chicken, cheese, BBQ sauce. I didn't say anything because she did ask me, and I told her no add-ons. The chicken alfredo came, and when we went to dish it out, the sauce was pretty runny. After we took a bite, we noticed it was just barely warm. We did ask if they could please take it back and just put it in the microwave for a minute. Unfortunately, they didn't have that option, so she had to start the pasta all over again. So we had to wait again for them to cook us another one. By the time it got back to us, our breadsticks were cold. While I will say the pasta was warmer, there was barely any chicken in it. At least the first one had big chunks of grilled chicken. The noodles were a bit dry as well, but we went ahead and just ate some because we were hungry by that time. We did mention the small amount of chicken to the server, and he just said yeah that happens sometimes. A final note I'll make is there was absolutely no pricing on the menu. Our total for 1 small pasta with breadsticks and a personal pizza was only $18. But honestly, for the quality of food, it was not worth it. We will definitely not be going back. So my family puts in an order to be delivered at 4:30 pm. Well 4:30 comes around a guess what no pizza but the order on the app says "received" 30 minutes later its 5 pm i call ask "wheres my pizza" the person says they will transfer me to customer support then they hang up. 30 more minutes later and multiple trys of calling back but only receiveing the bot and not being transfered to an actual person its 5:30 pm now i call back again finally get the store and guess what THEY CANCELED MY ORDER their excuse "the store had to close down this morning because we ran out of dough" its not morning why are still taking orders and people money if you don't have dough and why arent you emailing or notifying people "hey this is whats happening" thankfully we did recieve a full refund but the lack of communication and still taking people orders and money then canceling the orders an hour later leaving people waiting...

We have to travel to pick up our grand children. The last 3 time since spring of 2022 we have attempted to eat at the location in Burlington Iowa twice they've been closed due to staffing issue. Last night we tried again. The door were open and a sign was on the door that stated dining room is open come to the counter to order so we did. After a wait the lady came from the back and said they were not serving in dining room because of staffing. I'm not sure how this is becoming such an acceptable problem in our society, it really is so sad. I hope if the owners of are not currently aware of the disservice that they get my message.
