Boogaloo Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Burlington

We just ate here Saturday night, and was EXTREMELY displeased with the service! The waitress was rude, unprofessional, and argumentative through most of our dinner. First we ordered appetizers and our children’s meals to get those out quickly. Our waters and kids drinks didn’t come till the appetizers were almost out, and then there was an issue with the soda the kids ordered. When I questioned the waitress, she argued with me and was just plain rude about it. We then had to wait another 15 minutes and at that time the appetizers had came out. At that time the waitress had still not came back to place the rest of our order and another waitress had to go find her. Our drinks were next, and when we received those they were made incorrectly. Instead of taking it back to the bar and having them fix the margaritas with salt, she just brings two glasses for us to pour it into, which of course we make a mess doing so. My youngest then spills her milk by accident, and did not receive any help in trying to clean that up off the floor. Not once did the waitress check on our table to see how things were, and actually another waitress had gotten us our boxes and bill. We had taken the family there as a birthday celebration, and due to the poor service I will most likely not come back. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I have grown up waitressing since we had a family restaurant. However, if I would have acted this way towards any customers, there would have been consequences. Also, the time we went there wasn’t many tables...

The last 3 times we have been there the service has been horrible, the kids got their drinks and adults didn’t get theirs for another 25 minutes and we won’t waitress we didn’t want to order until our drinks came. The waitress was always in the back playing on her phone and never checking tables, had to keep borrowing other waitresses for help, she messed up our kids orders both, both tables next to us also, our kids meals had to remade because she put hot buffalo sauce on the wings instead of bbq sauce for kids, they had to wait for the food and adults were done eating by the time the kids food came back, we felt terrible. The bartender was over sitting at tables instead of mixing drinks for customers at the bar or tables, the food wasn’t horrible but definitely could improve. Fries were cold, the fish was flash fried from frozen and not quite done, soggy in the middle. Just overall we are tired of waiting 6 months to give them another chance and be let down again and again. We are not picky people either, but basic good service and good hot food seems to much to ask for. On a positive note I’ll add it is nice they added more lighting so seems more family friendly and the young black waitress that wasn’t ours was very helpful and nice when ours was nowhere...

In town for a softball tournament and the team ate lunch here. Service was beyond slow and bad. Took forever just to get drinks, food came out a little at a time, with most plates sitting on the tray, getting cold because they couldn't figure out who ordered what. Ultimately forgot to make three meals. My daughters was one of them. After sitting there for over an hour and a half, she gets hers after asking for it probably 10+ times, and then has time to eat about 5 bites of it before we have to get back to the ball park. Then the bill came and was completely wrong. We were charged for three things we didn't order. I hate to fault the server though. He tried his best. He was new and it was his first time on his own. He should never have been left to take care of 20+ people on his own, on a weekend! It wasn't even busy in there, yet no one helped him. I wish this was a one time experience.
