This Kasa is not su Kasa; being called a “guest” may sound sarcastic, for you pay A LOT before being told you should not count on taking a nap in the unit they rented you for $500 a day. “Management” displays no sense of business ethics and beg for “likes” after they take your money (in less than two days I received over 10 messages fishing for praise). FACT 1: the full charge of more than $1k for 3 nights and two days was charged instantly to my cc upon reservation. FACT 2: every day between being charged and checking in, I am bombarded with messages asking me to “confirm” my reservation. Question: you got my non-refundable payment, are you trying to sublease my unit before I have the chance to check in?!! FACT 3: after confirming that I intended to stay in the unit, I get a warning of dog breeds that are not accepted (my dog is “legal” but I resent that the information is provided AFTER the non-refundable payment is made – dishonest or just unethical??) FACT 4: after I check in, message informs that sometime between 9 am and 5 pm the next day maintenance will be coming into my unit. IF MAINTENANCE IS NEEDED AND YOU CAN’T SPECIFY AN INTERVAL SHORTER THAN 9-5… HOW ABOUT NOT RENTING THAT UNIT FOR THAT DAY?? My guest and I wanted privacy and paid a lot for it FACT 5: after ruining the first day, “management” still texts me several times asking me to rate how great they are. How about asking how clueless you are or some material to learn about...
Read moreWhat a joke of a company. The accommodations were fine although dirty and had stains all over the walls. It is probably great for a short stay without animals. I unfortunately was in between places as I was relocating to Chicago and stayed for a month with my dog. I honestly was ready to give a good review but not even ten minutes after check out I got a text saying I was being charged $500 for an animal.
This is why I freaked. My dog was on my reservation, my $3000 reservation was non-refundable, and it’s their pet policies you would think that this amount is what the reservation will be, including the dog on the reservation. They then trick you by emailing AFTER your non-refundable reservation that there are additional charges. They sneak these facts in an obnoxiously long disclosure you sign AFTER your reservation. Go on their website and see “Pet Policy” one sentence: you can bring one dog or cat.
Don’t support these kind of companies. The treatment I received after I pointed out their lack of transparency was atrocious. Makes me sick to live in such a dishonest society and then force you take it and not stand up. I was the customer, I paid what was due, and then fell in to a trap that I couldn’t get out of even if I wanted to. For a hotel...
Read moreBooked this last minute for the Chicago Marathon and cringed at the price, until I got to the room. Whoever designed the apartments put a lot of thought into every aspect. A perfect and modern studio apartment with everything you could possibly need and more. Floor to ceiling windows gave it that penthouse feel. A fully stocked and functional kitchen with modern appliances. Washer and dryer in the room, loads of storage space. We unpacked both of our bursting suitcases and managed to find room for everything neat and out of site. Amenities all provided including dishwasher tablets, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, dish cloths and dish towels. The coffee machine was a life saver with lots of free capsules provided. The building was amazing. Two gyms on the 16th and 17th floors with amazing city views. The sky lounge was a great indoor common space to sit and have wine and nibbles at the end of a long day. The water machine on level 17 offering cold still, sparkling and fruit flavoured waters was a great draw card. Did I mention there's a train station right across the road from the building with no noise affecting our room? Absolutely perfect....
