Lash Design - River North — Local services in Chicago

I had an appointment scheduled for 7:40. I came in @7pm to be here early and ready, to be respectful for my nail tech. I was told at 7:30pm, 10 minutes before my session started - that she was running 30-40 minutes behind and to come back tomorrow to take me at the exact same time. Why was I not told way earlier? How unprofessional. Running late because the precious client booked for one thing and wanted extensions instead. So because she chose to get something different rather what she booked, I had to suffer for it? No, she should’ve been told the nail artist has to do what she booked, if not then she has to reschedule for another time, not me. I had an appointment scheduled. Then to ask me to come back tomorrow, I have my whole week planned, so I have to alter my plans because you chose to be unprofessional? Didn’t offer any compensation until I had to ask for it. I recently had a manicure at Lash Design, and I couldn't be more thrilled! As someone who is very particular about my nails, I was impressed by their attention to detail, specifically Alia was hands down Amazing: super professional, super nice and made me feel comfortable and very welcomed! 10/10 would recommend this place. Everybody is so nice and it is so clean. My nail tech Alia really took her time to make sure my nails were perfect and checked in multiple times to see if I was happy with length/shape/color. The pedicure was so relaxing and a true russian pedicure. Most places claim they do russian pedicures but will still have water involved.
