one star. honestly i’ve lived across from big wig for a while now. last time i was here i paid $20 plus and didn’t get the guacamole or other things i was upcharged. then i tried to let it go. then i come in today after a long day of bartending. i let them know i didn’t get my guac. from last time. they didn’t care and laughed. i paid for guac again and all the works. no discount or show of concern. i open all the tacos on jest (he didn’t care and laughed) suggestion of the staff to make sure it’s all there. i notice i only have one set of salsa one green at once red. i also for a second set. i usually only have two sets but i was shorted this time. he gives it to me and then asked a rude remark about tip. when i walk out i see him still talking shut about tip and laughing with his rude coworkers.
first of all, how dare this man. what makes you think i’ll tip when my food i overpaid for was made wrong last time with no apology and i overpaid. second of all, how rude is it to ask for tip???? this is coming from a bartender who had to deal with stingy people all night. third, how dare you talk about people as their exiting. it makes me me not want to tip ever in the future. which i have when i had good service. i had walked in and wanted to place a order and staff was chatting and said they couldn’t take it till cashier came back. i had to suggest they get it started for me. she the cashier car back it was the caucasian boy i had tipped last time who is always so nice. maybe do you’re job right and you won’t have issues. i was already kind enough to not ask for a discount for the last fiasco i overpaid for with no food to show for it last time i was there. the caucasia male cashier is the best i’ve encountered even though he offered nothing to rectify when i came in and never got all my food even though i paid full price smh. management fire 95% of your staff and start again bc they clearly are left alone to their own devices and don’t care.
this was at 5/28 11:30 pm the way. i ave topped before at big wig! but not when it was horrendous service!!! cut some of this awful...
Read moreAfter the female cashier told me that they didn't have ground beef burritos,I was literally going to leave the restaurant. However,I very shockingly decided to stay only because my mom was with me and insisted on trying their Chicken burrito. If my memory serves me correctly, she told me not too long ago that Tacos are her preference for Mexican restaurants, not Burritos because she doesn't really care for Burritos like that. She also said that she doesn't really care for Mexican restaurants like that actually. As a result of us staying,we ate our Chicken Burritos there.Neither one of us liked their Chicken Burrito. It has a smoky grilled flavor or essence at least though, but I know that this is not the best that I can do for a Chicken Burrito, despite the fact that I am a hardcore fan of Burritos, especially ground beef Burritos. What I thought could be a "Homemade" Lemonade drink they are serving is actually "Margarita" yellow drink, because it has alcohol in it.I was very shocked and disappointed to be told that by the rank & file female cashier, but apparently it's a very popular drink because everybody else that was in the restaurant with us that day was drinking fervent amounts of it.Seating wise,it was wood interior without seat cushions for their benches. No customer restroom there either by the way.No soda water there either from their fountain drink selection machine.More than likely,Mexico might be the only place that actually has good or better Burritos, but I digress. At least I didn't have to pay for my mediocre food though. Now that's Dodging...
Read moreOverall decent experience. I walked in and I was skeptical about how the food was going to taste, I thought it was just another chain restaurant like Chipotle. I asked the cashier if the food was authentic. I think he misunderstood me because he said "we serve it both Mexican and American Style", but that's not what I asked him. Anyway, I decided to go ahead and give them a chance. I was pleasantly surprised, the food was good, hot, and fresh. I ordered two chicken tacos and one steak tacos. The steak could have been just a little bit more tender but it was still good. The tacos look small but they are actually packed with a ton of meat.
The service could have been a little better. The cashier acted like I was a bother to him and almost as if he didn't want to wait on me, maybe because I was asking questions before I ordered? But when young "Becky" walked in, he was stumbling and tripping over himself to make sure she got good service.
The restaurant was very clean and brightly lit but also very cold.
I would probably make this a stop on a future visit if I'm in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to come here like...
