Ninja Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

By far the nastiest food I have ever had. I ordered broccoli beef with fried rice and a chicken chowmein; what I got was broccoli beef that looked like it just had cold sauce dumped on it, plus the broccoli had a funny smell to it and it had a horrible taste. Now the fried rice looked drenched and clearly was drenched in soy sauce.No flavor, not even appetizing. As for the chicken chowmein they didn't even get my order right! For that they gave me beef, but thats not the worst part, this dish had no flavor whatsoever either, and it was very very oily. I tried to add some soy sauce to improve flavor but that just made it so much worst. The advertising on their site looks good but the food really lacks flavor. This is literally not a place I'd come to again. ...

I love this place. The sushi is good for the price and ther service is friendly, considering they are not offering dine in still. They have a window where you can order. I suggest ordering online. They are usually pretty fast so by the time you get to the restaurant, it will be ready. When I have used the drive through in the past, it takes almost just as long for them to prepare the food. There is a small fee, I beleive $1.50 for the interface, but it is worth it for the convenience. The sushi is always fresh and they even throw in some spring rolls if you spend at least $25. Some of the best hibachi I've had in ages. I just don't understand why they don't have white sauce / yum yum sauce / shrimp sauce / Sakura sauce, whatever you wanna call that sauce... I've never been to a hibachi place that didn't have it. Strange. Didn't even seem to know what I was talking about. Eager to please and gave me more of the sauce the hibachi was cooked in instead, lol. Hate to take a star off for that, though, but just have to, cause it would be prefect with it, and wasn't without. However, otherwise, absolutely recommend, totally wonderful, good food, great service, good vibes. Just byo yum yum...
