Yolanola does the best job at cleaning the rooms. We called early in the morning to request another night and I was slightly concerned about leaving my personal belongings in the room but I did; I come back later in the evening and all my personal belongings were missing however the room was completely cleaned; smelling great; bed made fresh sheets and clean pillow cases. I called front desk they told me to call in the morning they didn’t have access to lost and found. So I stop by at check out and yes; my personal belongings were there completely untouched neatly placed and wrapped in plastic. I was very relieved and thought the maid should be recognized because it must be difficult having to clean the rooms to standard and I’m sure a lot of the ratings are reduced because people don’t ask they automatically complain. The rooms were safe , very clean, and I’m very happy that the maid completed her job responsibly; all of my personal items that I was concerned about were there; and my room was way clean and she re stocked my towels with fresh clean ones even the ones just opened on the counter you can tell she replaced because they smelled fresh. This maid was wonderful; and I understand that with as many rooms as there are they don’t have time to call front desk and stop and ask if every room the guests are staying or not; so to just get her job done well that’s what they have to do. So thank you; yolanola; at This Motel 6; you are amazing!!!!!!! If only the world had such exceptional skills like you; there would be no problems; front desk was slightly rude this morning to my husband about it when he asked if they can check lost and found for my items how ever. That’s all— and we frequently come here like at least once or twice every other week and members of their hotel club services. Along with several other hotel services. It slightly violates privacy to request ID from every single visitor during the day or of all people staying in the room. If your not having random people show up all hours of the night; it shouldn’t be an issue; however I know some people around here it can be slightly ghetto ; but every time I communicated any thing with the staff they have been accommodating and we were able to work it out. It’s why we keep coming back. Thank you.
In reading the reviews; two months and the ice machine still is out of service. However they restock all the vending machines daily because by the end of the day they are all empty. So if some one can let the vending company know; because they are the ones to put a work order in for their machines ; because the person responsible for stock probably forgets to put in the order considering he has many requests to fill; so if motel 6 can let their main office know; that issue can be fixed. And some times you have to call multiple times; just to make sure it gets...
Read moreI have been coming to this hotel for years with no problems. I have bad back issues and always request a handicap room on the first floor. During my last visit, my girlfriend and I checked in late on a Sunday night. At 1:30 am, I was awakened by my girlfriend screaming because there was a bed bug crawling on her arm. We quickly inspected the matress and pillows but they were big free. We located the bugs laying eggs on the floor in the corner and behind the base board. We went to front desk and let them know what happened. There were no handicap rooms available so the only room we could move to was upstairs. We got no sleep that night, we were kinda grossed out. I had brought all my clothes into the room so it was necessary to take the day off work to wash all our dirty and clean clothes and dry them on high heat for 1 hour. Missing work that day cost me $240 in wages. I had planned on extending our stay there for 2 more days to finish my project but couldn't afford it because I missed 1 day of pay. I went to the front desk and talked to them about my problem. Since I didn't get to stay in the handicap room I reserved, was put up stairs which was difficult for me and I had to spend money to wash everything put in the room after missing 1 day of work, because of bed bugs, I asked them if they could possibly help me out and compensate me 2 night stay so I could finish my project and have place to sleep. He head house keeper was very rude. Then the assistant manager told me she couldn't help me and raised her voice at me. She wouldn't let me talk. Finally, I told her I would come talk to the manager at 3 when she comes in, she was still yelling at me when I walked out of office anf back to my room. Next thing I knew, a Sacramento Sheriff was banging on my door and told me it was time to leave. She had called the cops. I explained to him what was going on and he wanted to go to front desk with me to talk to her. Again, she would not let me speak. She was not honest, she was rude and mean. I will never come to this hotel again. Terrible customer service and the whole stay there...
Read moreWell where do I start. I only give one star because I have to press a star to write the reviews. This hotel deserves Not even a quarter of one and needs to be shut downWhen I checked in, the owner was very sweet. Was told to leave a review and I’ll get a discount. Little did she know I do this with every business. The next day was like dr Jekyll and Hyde.First I got accused that I was the one that was leaving dog poop on the lawn to which her and her co worker were yelling at me. I told her let me see the camera that showed me leaving my dog poop, which she stills yells she has to tell everyone which I asked other people I seen with dogs and they said no they weren’t told anything like that(claims security saw me which was a lie because I always picked up after my dog)which when I tried to tell her it wasn’t me, she became very hostile. Which is very ironic because she claimed that she has security, but my baby on the Fourth of July picked up a DRUG NEEDLE, which I did let her know about that too. So I guess security was invisible. While staying there if you ask for something 10/10 times they are not going to give it you. The housekeepers are very rude themselves and I was told they all don’t speak English so that’s the excuse of not getting what you need. The way the owner or manager speaks to people is unlike anything I have ever seen. People are already going through whatever they are going through and face all type of problems but if a customer is paying to stay at your hotel, the least you can do is be kind. Lastly everyone is adults. I was coming back from SF for work and I tried explaining I was stuck in truck but she didn’t care, she started yelling that it’s not her problem and she will charge an extra 30 dollars for late check out. Learn how to talk to people especially working in this business. The way the owner yells at full grown adults like she is your mother is really ugly and she just might yell at the wrong person. She yelled at a disabled lady which was very disheartening.0/10. Highly do not recommend. Even if you need something cheap. YOU...
