Came here for a 4 day stay, walked into a hotel WREAKING of marijuana and cigarettes.. especially when passing rooms when it’s “no smoking 25ft within premises”, enter our room appears to be semi okay with quite a smell the bathroom counter shelf is just on the floor broken ?, left our room to go attend plans that were made to come back to find our room is INFESTED with ROACHES.. adults and babies.. walked down to front desk immediately to make them aware, on the way down found them crawling up the walls mind you it’s about 5pm broad daylight, so most certainly an infestation, let the front desk clerk know and she doesn’t bat an eye at the situation, no apology nothing, like this is the usual, switches us rooms on the way to the new room seen more in the halls.. enter the new room you can clearly see it hasn’t been cleaned the carpet is dirty, the towels are visibly dirty, talked to the clerk about a refund tells us we have to wait for manager to arrive in the morning with no time frame “we don’t know when he will be here maybe first thing in the morning “ come down bright and early he’s not there then proceeds to tell us “come back down between 9-1030 “ to then see the manager parking in a handicap spot and is perfectly able and fine and appears to be unpacking to stay at this hotel as well! crazy! then he says he can only refund us one night and the rest will be through cooperate… his associate numbers expired so then he can’t give the refund, then proceeds to say “can you just bang on that wall right there my employee is sleeping in there and i need her numbers to give you the refund “ so here my boyfriend is pounding on this random wall.. called cooperate situation was escalated and then was told to call back to the hotel to confirm refund.. it’s now a week later and still haven’t been able to contact the hotel, have called from 9am - 4pm and when i say all day i mean it and not a single person has answered the phone but i call other woodspring locations and they answer immediately. THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!!! DO NOT STAY HERE ITS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND SANITY!! on top of the fact the manager william fox is EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude and called us liars after showing picture and video evidence and hung up on me mid phone...
Read moreTerrible service. There is never anyone at the front desk if you have something you need. You are expected to use two towels for two weeks. They only let you have two towels at any given time as if you are going to steal them. I was told told by the less than friendly staff that "this isn't like a normal hotel it's more like I'm renting a room" and am expected to bring my own things like dish towels and toilet paper. Not kidding. I planned on staying here for several months, but with this service my room and the several other rooms that my company is renting will now become vacant. Do yourself a favor and go to another hotel and avoid the disappointment.
I notified the attendant at the front desk(John) that my room didn't get cleaned on my scheduled day, he informed me that it was possible the cleaning crew had missed it. I thought that sounded possible, wasn't upset, mistakes happen it's only human. The rooms here are scheduled to be cleaned every two weeks, so it was only logical to expect that in two weeks it would get cleaned. Well i was wrong. John had been helpful in the past for minor occurrences including needing my room key reactivated and some towels and toilet paper and so on, but not very professional with his human interaction. Needless to say this is the 5th or 6th week my room has been "overlooked". Today when I told him yet again that it hadn't been cleaned he shrugged it off and said " What Evs". Very unprofessional and not fitting of someone who works with customers and potential customers. The company that is paying for my room has several rooms here . Unfortunately I've heard several other complaints from other guests due to rude customer service, filthy linens, moldy shower curtains, spiders and bugs in the rooms and several more. We will be leaving and paying the thousands you've lost to one of your...
Read moreCheck in was easy. There was a lot of paperwork to sign, but I'm comparing it to the big chain hotels for this. The halls were clean and no bad smells. My room was on the 3rd floor (studio). The studio was absolutely immaculate. Corners were clean. Edges around the door and toilet were spotless. It was a great room for the price that I paid. I felt safe and the few people I ran into while there were friendly. The bed was a full size bed. It was smaller than I'm used to but it was comfortable. The kitchenette was spotless and didn't come with one furnished item. I assume extended stay hotels are like this for the most part. I had packed accordingly. When I turned out the lights to go to sleep, I was greeted with this ANNOYING flash. Why would anyone make smoke/fire detectors that flash a bright light every 10 seconds or so?!?! I had to move a chair and stand on it while I tried to cover the absurd flash. I used a piece of clothing and a loose ponytail holder to finally get it covered. I really just wanted to sleep. Other than the flash, the rest of the stay was great. Take black electrical tape with you and all will be well. Oh, the pictures were really accurate online. My room really looked like what was posted. The chairs are plastic like ones. No cushion. It didn't bother me. Other reviews talk about thin walls. With my night, I didn't hear anything. It was a quiet night. I had the fan on constantly in the A/C and heat unit. You can hear a little hum of the highway... Because you are close to the highway. I checked out the location before making reservations, as I do with any hotel. You can't compare this type of hotel with the big chain hotels... you will be let down if you do. They are different types of hotels. But if you want a place to sleep, shower and go, this is fine (don't forget the black tape). [Review collected...
