I honestly dont even know where to begin. I live an hour away with my parents and we are in the process of selling our home and wanting to make the move to Conroe. I came across these apartments which are an hour away from us and I thought they looked good. I called and asked for more information about a 2 bedroom & 2bath. Fallen/Fallin was very nice over the phone and even gave me a quote through Email and made it very easy for me. She did urge for me to try and apply fast because that floor plan goes by fast, which is understandable. I applied as fast as I could and everything was going smooth! We got approved and eventually took the drive out to Conroe to see the apartment complex. It was a nice quiet community for a Saturday evening. Apartments looked clean and everything was nice. These are not luxurious apartments nor did they have highly updated appliances but they were decent. They were not ugly but they were not over the top amazing , like I said they were decent. We loved how close all the stores were and how close 45 was. Hannah did an amazing job giving us the tour and explaining everything to us and we left happy knowing we would be moving in soon. 1-2days later we were crushed to see that we were not approved anymore. Fallen/Fallin had requested for additional information regarding my financial info. I said okay well let me get that over to you see what they can do for you and she agreed. I did whatever I could to get that info to her and to my HR team. I call the office back to see if they got the information they were seeking and Fallen/Fallin answers the phone. This time she was incredibly rude. She told me in the nicest way possible that she couldnt get ahold of my companies HR team even after giving her the info and then she said she had ran my check stubs and for whatever reason they didnt come back good and then she told me when she ran another applicants checks that they came out good. Then proceeded to tell me after paying application fees and all other fees needed that we are no longer approved at all and that they will not except us their . We were so upset and I was in shocked how fast their attitudes changed so quickly. I did the best I can to get the information to them and they didnt except it . But sure did except the money for our Urged application to get the apartment. I also think since she had another applicant apply for that same apartment probably for a different price range that she went with them because it was more money. Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience, been out of AC for a month and they havenāt tried to ease the issue. They gave us a portable weeks ago but could only put it in the living room. So our bedroom and bathroom have been sitting at a cool 80 degrees for 3 weeks. We havenāt seen or heard from them. Ridiculous, we were told they had to wait for one part now another. Our lease is up in 2 months and I will not be resigning. No care for their residents, and this is just the top of the issue starting with BUGS and amenities never being available. Donāt start a lease here, you will regret it. UPDATE: still no AC and no one cares to give us compensation or a new ac unit⦠just waiting on a mysterious part for 2 months. Also major roach infestation that they refuse to deal with. No matter how much poison I put out they will not diminish and I asked for priority on pest control and was told that isnāt a thing. Absolutely horrible service all around. Iām continuously told to contact āmanagement but I have yet to get more than a 2 minute phone call saying they are doing all they can. Far too expensive for these conditions and treatment. Youāll pay for basic utilities and pest control that wonāt be provided. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can only rate the office staff and what I have seen so far. I came across River Pointe with a friend. We were checking out apartments for her. My situation changed suddenly, and now I need a place. I've visited River Pointe 3x in the last two weeks or so. Each time the gates were closed. I toured with Kelly and with Kenny (who was temporary in the office but was fantastic!) Kelly was also fantastic. I actually did tours on two different occasions with her, once with my friend and once alone. She is upbeat, genuine, and kind. She seemed very down to earth while still being professional. She seemed like a real human, and not someone just trying to force you into a lease.
After visiting 5-7 different complexes, the single thing that stood out to me the most about Kelly was her willingness to ensure I would be content with the apartment chose. "This one is going to have a view of the parking lot. This one is going to be the trees so that's really nice. Also, the trees will provide some shade during the summer months." She had a lot of patience with us in each unit and never rushed us. She really seemed like she wanted me to be satisfied. Answered each question. Said she didn't know the answer if she didn't know the answer.
I know I looked at at least 8 different apartments on site. Both leasing agents showed the list screen with prices for transparency. I appreciated this a lot.
