If i could leave a negative 1 star review i would! first off i dont live in conroe but i do work out here so i picked this place out of convinience also i live in houston. I brought my husbands gown for graduation along with my astros shirt that i had purchased from the team store mothers day game on mothers day!!!!!! i paid for it too be dry cleaned and to also have the bottom patch on the shirt sewn on that was only an iron on. The girl that helped me asked what color i wanted the stitching i told her white. i returned 2 weeks later because that's how "long" it would take them. i returned just for the shirt to be completely stained and ruined! :( the girl asked me before she handed it to me with a shocked look on her face "were they supposed to dry clean this?" so i grabbed the shirt and immediately was livid. i said yes it was and where did these stains come from?? this shirt is new! i flipped the shirt inside out to look behind the patch i had paid to have sewn in and the exact same stain residue was on there. So whoever they had fix my shirt also stained my shirt in 2 different places like what?! today the lady that was at the front called the owner and i guess he handed the phone to someone else because she slammed her fist on the counter top and said "see this is exactly why he has bad reviews" she was understanding about it but in the end i should be reimbursed for yall ruining my shirt! I will never recommend this place to anyone dont even waste your time. oh and also they didnt dry clean it you can tell it was washed because on one of my patches the red color bled onto the...
Read moreI moved to Conroe 3 years ago and this was the dry cleaner closer to where I live. I used to take clothes to dry clean every week to the point that most of the time I didn't even have to show them the ticket, because they knew me. Like 2 months ago I took my daughter coat to dry clean. A wool Gucci coat. When the coat came back it didn't have the belt. They told me not to worry because usually they take the belt to do the service and it gets misplaced. Also, they said they have a bunch of belts on the location where they do the service. I told them I never took that belt out of the coat because I didn't even know you could take out the belt. It’s one of those that the belt loop is part of the coat fabric. I waited a month, going weakly like usual until finally one day the coat was back. I asked the girl what happened, and she just told me they didn't have the belt and there was no way they could have taken it. In other words, I was the one who took the belt and blame them. She never said "we are sorry" or " we will keep looking"...nothing. So, they lost the belt and at the end I'm the one lying because they never got that belt. I know this can happens because we are all human, but it’s not smart to blame the client for something they did. I would have keep going to this place if she would have given me a different answer. If you have any piece with a belt, make sure to remove it before you take it to the dry clean, because if they have a bunch of belts where they dry clean the clothes its evident they will remove this piece and you...
Read moreStarted using Sunshine recently. The laundering was fine, so I took my newest suit to be cleaned. When I picked it up, one hem was undone. I brought it back the next day and was told to bring it back during the weekday as the person that did alterations only worked week days. When I found time to bring them back two weeks later, I was told I would have to pay for the hem to be repaired, and it be "sent out." I was told it was from wear and tear and not from their cleaning process. I informed them that was not true, it was returned to me in that condition, and they should repair it at no cost since it had happened while in their possession. They refused, so I won't be back.
I went to Andy's Cleaners in the Woodlands and not only did they fix the hem in 3 minutes (sewn, not with adhesive), but didn't charge me. I'll be taking my dry cleaning there...
