This review is not about the store, but the company. 2 months ago we purchased our sleep number bed and were told the soonest availability for delivery would be today (6/7/22). We accepted and set the date. This morning on the day of delivery, we recieved two text messages and an email stating our bed would be delivered on time today between 3:30 and 6:30pm. Upon receiving the first text, we sold our old mattress, and got things ready for the new one. At 7pm, our bed still hadn't arrived, so we called the sleep number 24/7 line and waited 20 mins to be connected to someone. The person we spoke to said that the delivery person emailed them saying they would have to reschedule due to "extreme delays", and she told us the soonest available delivery date would be July 26th, over a month away. They offered to waive our delivery fee and send us some free sheets, but seeing as we sold our only mattress and have nothing to sleep on for over a month, the offer was laughable. I asked what would happen on July 26th if this happened again, and she said they "hoped it would only be a one time thing", but no guarantee. It really is a shame because we had our hearts set on a sleep number, and we put $1,000 dollars down on it and have already started making payments on the loan and we have nothing to show for it, and have no idea when we will. What's funny, is we were about to buy a bed at mattress firm across the street when our sales person from sleep number texted us saying she could get us a better deal, and the salesman at mattress firm said he had people coming to him all the time after buying a sleep number, and then canceling it because they kept getting their deliveries rescheduled and had no idea when they'd get their bed. We shook it off as him just trying to sell his bed instead, but we probably should have listened to him. im going to sleep on it (not restfully on the floor), but we will likely end up canceling our order and finding a different mattress. After waiting 2 months for this, im not sure if it's worth waiting over...
Read moreWe were looking for a new mattress and decided to go to the sleep number store. We laid on one of their mattresses and made it a point to tell the lady that we slept in the middle together. She proceeded to tell us that that would not be a problem at all. After the presentation we decided to go ahead and buy a mattress, with the knowledge that we could return it after 30 days if we didn't like it. While we were paying we found out that you do not have a option to take it home yourself you have to pay $249 to have it delivered. What this entailed was them bringing the mattress in laying it on our box spring hooking up two hoses and plugging in the pump. This could have easily been done by myself. After sleeping on the bed for a few nights we noticed that we were sinking in the middle and it was like climbing over a mountain to get out of the bed. We called the sales lady and she told us that sleeping in the middle together was not recommended! She then told us to call customer service to figure out what to do. We called and they said to turn off one of the features. So basically we paid for a feature that we can't use. The bed was better, but we found out that if we changed the number while we were laying on the bed it started sinking in the middle again. So I then took it down to five and brought it back up to our numbers and didn't touch it again. The bed was okay but it wasn't any better than the puffy lux mattress that we already owned. So we decided to return it. When I called on day 31, I found out that she have to pay another $249 to have the bed picked up. And you have no option of taking the bed back to the store yourself. What a rip off! So if you sleep in the middle like us do not buy a sleep number bed!! Otherwise...

He was also very patient as we made our decision on which Sleep Number bed will work for us! It was actually a lot of fun! We can’t wait to receive our new Sleep Number bed and can’t thank Cory enough!
This is an update to the previous post which was posted the day we purchased our sleep number bed….. We should have made this purchase years ago! There was a physical difference after the very first night sleep. My back no longer hurts and my partner had the same result, only he also had hip discomfort as well that seems to have been resolved! It’s really hard to believe but it’s true. I hadn’t been able to sleep on my right side for over a year due to a shoulder issue but now I can. What’s even more amazing is that my partner had an incident 21 years ago which left him with a frontal lobe brain injury and ever since then he hasn’t slept the same. Always woke up several times during the night and usually couldn’t go back to sleep. I get up for work at 2 a.m. and this would wake him up and sometimes he wouldn’t be able to get back to sleep. Not only has our sleep number bed relieved a lot of our physical issues but he now sleeps through the night! After 21 years he sleeps through the night! If he does wake up for any reason he’s able to go back to sleep. It’s absolutely amazing what this bed has done for the both of us, but especially him! If you’ve been in the fence or “heard the stories” but wondered if it’s all that I’m here to tell you…it’s worth every penny. It just may...
