At first, I really loved going to this gym. It looked nice, had a lot of workout equipment, and the people there seemed friendly. I was excited to start getting healthier and building good habits. Every time I went, I felt proud of myself and I thought this gym was a great place to help me stay active. I even got a locker to store my things so I didnāt have to carry everything around all the time.
But sadly, things changed, and now Iām really disappointed. Because of my job, I couldnāt go to the gym for two weeks. I thought that would be okay, but when I came back, I found out that they had cut the lock on my locker without even telling me. They didnāt send me a message or email or anything. They just went ahead and opened it themselves.
Whatās worse is that they took some of my stuff out and threw it in the ālost and foundā pile. And some of the stuff still in the locker after they broke the lock. I had clothes, shorts, and even my water and headphones in the locker. When I asked the front desk about it, they didnāt really seem to care. They just told me that my things werenāt allowed to be left overnight. But no one ever told me that rule when I signed up for the gym. If they had told me, I would have made sure to clean out my locker ahead of time.
The person at the front desk brought me to some laundry room where they had put some of my clothes. It felt really uncomfortable to go through all that just to find my own stuff. And then I noticed something even worseāthere were three bottles of water in my locker before, and when I got my things back, only one was still sealed. One of them was completely empty, and the last one had only half the water left inside. That means someone actually drank from it! That is so disgusting and not okay at all.
This whole experience made me feel like they didnāt respect their members. I trusted them to keep my things safe while I was away for a little while. But instead of helping me, they just went through my stuff, didnāt even try to contact me, and some of my things even got used by someone else. I still like working out, but I donāt feel good about this gym anymore. I wish they had better rules and better communication.
In the beginning, I thought this gym was great and helpful. But after what happened, I donāt feel that way anymore. I hope they can learn from this and treat their members with more care. For now, Iām not sure if I want to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI do not recommend this company to anyone and would rate them a 0 if I could. It is a pain to even attempt to cancel your membership or get any kind of clear answer from anyone. The email they have you use is of no assistance and they will not hold themselves accountable for allowing another person to make changes to your account without notifying you. Their member services takes forever to respond back to you, but only gives repeat information and "apologizes for the inconvenience" that was caused by allowing another person to make unauthorized changes to your account without a courtesy notification from them. Then after multiple borderline condescending emails, I finally went in to pay my fee and the bill to just get this experience over with. The first woman I spoke to was extremely rude and essentially said she could not help me and neither could the AGM, who had only come out of her office for a short amount of time, helped other customers who came up after me, and did not want to listen to me to see what she could assist with. However, another associate, River, who was absolutely amazing, was able to provide me with the assistance I had been asking for. While the other associate stormed off and had to go sit in the office to calm down after being asked to calm down and speak with a less aggressive and condescending attitude towards me. The AGM wanted to charge me $150 to cancel whereas member services was telling me it was $119.97. I was fortunately able to get the $119.97 to cancel this membership that had been nothing but a headache to deal with. If the process to cancel was simple and I was given the answers to the questions I had been asking, I would be more willing to sign up again at a later time. However, after having to deal with the rude staff (multiple times), member services, the differences in information across club and member services, and the fact that someone with the bare basics of information about me was able to change anything on or about my account leaves me distrusting and downright disgusted with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a Onelife member at two different times over many years. I decided to stop into Tech Center today to see about upgrading my current membership to include this location. I've become disappointed with the City Center location and I am ready for a change.
I really like this location in Tech Center. Sonja and Pree were fantastic today. Kind, customer focused, and shook my hand when greeting me. Pree gave me a wonderful tour of the facility and Sonja answered my questions.
A class was finishing up in the pool area when we walked through on the tour. The instructor smiled and greeted me with positive energy. The customer focus and positive energy in this location was on point and refreshing.
This location is newer, so it has equipment in great condition and a large selection to choose from. The yoga room is stunning and I look forward to taking classes in there.
While this location is a little smaller than the City Center location, some of the features that it doesn't have actually make it a better facility. The other location is high in noise from the open racquetball, basketball, and Zone 4 areas on top of the gym music and music coming from the cardio room. This location brings noise to the right level, and I feel that the class rooms are more insulated when it comes to containing class noise. Temperature wise, this location is much better (not stuffy/ac works well).
This location provides a great mix of equipment and classes to plan out an awesome workout for the week.
The gym is also very clean and well maintained. Towel stations can be found in each workout area if you forget to grab one on the way in. The locker room is spacious and clean.
This location is 24/7 Monday through Friday night at 10pm with modified hours on Saturday and Sunday. 24/7 during the week is a huge plus.
This location does run a little more in monthly cost. Paying less would be nice, but in some ways, the cost is worth it. I look forward to my...
