I stayed in this hotel for 3 days. My first night, there were ants in my shower. The next morning on my way to breakfast, I informed the front desk associate about the problem. She said, I'll send someone up. I left out for work, came back hours later and my daughter said no one came to the room. More ants were in the bathroom. This was around 8:30pm. I went down to the front desk and told the front desk associate about the problem. He said, usually if it's a problem of this nature, they would put us in another room. I told him that it was late, and I didn't want to switch rooms. I asked him to make a note for the morning shift. He said he can send someone up to spray. So, a young man came up to spray. Ants died. This hotel has only been open for about 3 weeks. This should not be happening. An hour later, Ants were in a different location. On the refrigerator, counter top and sink. This was around 11pm. I went back to the front desk. There was a new associate there. l told her that we would go ahead and switch rooms because by morning the ants would be everywhere. She said that she'll put me in the room next door. I asked her if she does that, will it be an ant problem in that room. Because it's right next door. She said, No ma'am. I moved to the new room. There were dead ants in the bathroom. At this point I wasn't going back downstairs. It was almost 12am. By morning, there were ants crawling on the bathroom floor. I went to inform the front desk of the problem. I told her that I had to leave for work and that I would probably need to switch rooms when I come back. She said, she can move me to the 4th floor. I asked her is there an ant problem up there. She said, no one has complained about it. That I'm the only who has complained about it. I said, I'm not complaining about it. There are ants in the room. She says, yes ma'am. This associate name is Amy. She's very rude. I asked her to ask the manger to call me. I went back upstairs. There were 3 hotel associates in the room that I moved from. I heard them saying, Oh my God..they're everywhere. I walked in front of the room and told them that I moved out of that room because of the ants. I told them that there were ants in my new room. The housekeeper said she'll come clean them up. She said someone would come spray. I left for work. This time my daughter came with me. Hours went by and still no call from the manager Shantay. When we got back to the room, there were a few ants still alive on the bathroom floor. This was about 7:30pm. Told my daughter we're checking out in the morning. We're not going to switch rooms. The next morning I went down for breakfast. Amy was at the desk. I asked her to speak to the manager. She said, the manager wasn't in yet. I asked if the manager could give me a call. She said yes. Checkout time. Amy tells me that they can give me 10,000 Hilton points. I told her that I don't want the points. I want to speak to the manager. Now, through all of this going on I wasn't rude. I didn't have and attitude because I know stuff happens. So I couldn't understand why this woman was so rude. It has been 3 days now, and no call from the manager. Everytime I call, of course Amy answers the phone and tells me the manager is unavailable. I called corporate. They said they can refund me for one night. They would have to send me a check in the mail for the refund, because they haven't been able to contact the manager to issue me a refund at the hotel. The check would take 7-10 business days to be sent out. They also stated that the check can take 30 days to be verified. Which is crazy. I told them that I would call the hotel and talk to the manager Shantay. I'm not waiting that long for a refund. I still haven't been able to get in touch with the manager. This is unacceptable for a new hotel.

First of all, if there was no staff in the entire building, I would have given this place a 5/5. We didn't have an infestation of ants like others have stated, but we did have an infestation of maintenance people & housekeeping. We declined housekeeping, but they continued to try and come in 4 times a day for our 2 week stay. Even after going to the front desk multiple times declining housekeeping. And maintenance needed access to our room because my room wasn't ready to be occupied yet. So a man sits in my bathroom for 4 hours, blaring his Mexican music to which I couldn't do anything. I couldn't read, I couldn't watch shows, I couldn't use my own bathroom, I had to go downstairs in the lobby to go. I didn't realize when I paid for the room that I would be sharing it with their maintenance and housekeepers. We had other friends staying here, and they had the same issue. They declined housekeeping, and they still entered their rooms. I guess the signs all over the parking lot stating to hide and take your valuables with you does not pertain to just the parking lot. And their maintenance are very strange. I held the door for one of them in the elevator and asked what floor he was going to. He said floor 4, so I pressed the button for him, and we went up to the second floor where I was getting off. He ended up getting off on my floor even though he originally stated he was going to the 4th floor. This was earlier in the day, and later that day around 5:30 I get a knock on my door I check the peephole and it was the same guy that got off at the elevator with me. So so creepy, so glad I didn't open my door. We were never contacted again for maintenance to enter, and I never left the room for the last 3 days in our stay because I was too scared to leave (As a women staying primarily solo, this was a very unsettling interaction)

I don’t like posting negative reviews but in this case the owner needs to hear it. I’ve stayed in many Home2 Suites and expected the same quality from this brand new location, plus maybe an extra-clean room. Instead, I found a poorly constructed building full of bugs and operational issues. Staying on the first floor I quickly befriended the half-dozen spiders that hung out in my shower every day, probably because the perimeter of the bathroom floors are roughly cut with no caulking. If you want ants you’ll have to go to the fourth floor. Hot water was technically functional but only after running it for 10+ mins, at which point I got to enjoy the cheap shower head that converts hot water into a weak, cold mist. The rooms didn’t have any “do not disturb” signs, so I requested no housekeeping at the front desk. The next day I found that my room had been entered and they threw away business receipts I was keeping on the desk. The door to my room didn’t close enough to latch the deadbolt. Every door in the building slammed shut. My room key (physical and digital) had to be reset 3 times in 8 days. One night, without any notice, the hotel tried to block off almost the entire parking lot with caution tape for some kind of grand opening photo shoot. Needless to say the guests weren’t happy. The list goes on. You can claim that the building is new and you’re still working out the kinks, but it seems more like rushed construction and uncaring management.

NIGHTMARE STAY: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! ⚠️

My 8-day business trip turned into a complete DISASTER at this supposedly "upscale" establishment. Let me save you the trouble:

The INFESTATION was relentless. ANTS. EVERYWHERE. They moved me to another room - guess what? MORE ANTS! Their solution? Occasional spraying that did NOTHING. No manager ever bothered to address the problem properly. I literally had to track down a plumber in the parking lot who finally fixed the issue that "professional" management couldn't handle.

But the nightmare didn't end there...

The CHAOS continued when management blocked off 80% of parking for some ridiculous "opening photo" and had the audacity to DENY ME ACCESS to my room when my friend parked in one of the many empty spaces (along with numerous other guests). When I expressed reasonable frustration over their non-working key cards, the power-tripping front desk employee CALLED THE POLICE on me! Only the GM's last-minute intervention over the phone prevented an absurd escalation. The police still showed up, two regular units and one K-9 Unit!

After speaking with multiple employees, I discovered the disturbing truth: the entire building was RUSHED during construction. While the lobby creates a facade of luxury, the rooms reveal the ALARMING TRUTH - cut corners, shoddy workmanship, and a complete lack of quality control. I've been told by multiple employees it's only been open for 3 weeks yet they've received TONS of complaints about this exact issue.

Save yourself the headache, lost time, and ruined vacation. This place is a ticking time bomb of problems that management is either unwilling or unable to address. Your hard-earned money deserves better than this disgraceful excuse for...
