BEWARE! All of the staff was very professional and kind but that is the only good thing. This may seem like a Marriott property but this is a dumpy unsafe motel with a Marriott label on the front. Extremely unsafe.
As soon as we pulled up to the hotel there was a strong weed smell in the parking lot and in the lobby. There is two run down motels next door...like trap motels. There was a sign in the parking lot that said they were not responsible for theft inside of vehicles which led me to believe it is an ongoing problem. They also had a guest arguing with staff as I was walking to my room.
I entered the hotel and there was a couple all over each other in the lobby. We went to each of the rooms and the first one smelled like funk and urine. They moved me to another room. But still in all the rooms the carpets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, our feet stuck to the floor, the sheets were yellow, and the bathroom was filthy. The same filth and coffee spills were in the elevator for the two nights I was there.
The breakfast looked like jailhouse food. All they had was watery eggs, turkey sausage, oatmeal, and a stale bagel at 8am on a Sunday. Definitely not marriott quality.
Finally, after all that...what topped off this entire hell hole of a stay was the domestic disturbance in the room next door to me at 2am. Cursing, yelling, slamming doors. The cops came and put them out. I felt unsafe the whole time and this was the kicker.
So needless to say, I reported to Marriott and they will be investigating the matter. We couldn't leave the hotel bc it is Christmas, and nowhere had three open rooms, so my family was stuck in hell for two nights, We couldnt leave fast enough. Staff was nice...
Read moreTo start out I am a Pastor who was in town for a Church event, i must say I am disappointed however the room was amazing besides this loud noise in the ceiling or whatever it was that kept waking me up. Now to get to the problem that I had with the location, not so much the front desk staff because they wer nice and pleasant, however I was charged $280.00 for my stay and then on 2 more occasions they tried to charge me again for $150.00 and then $170.00 , which had never happened to me while staying at a Marriott property and as someone who has worked as a Guest Representative for Marriott for some years, I know how this works and I have never seen this happen. To top it all off I’m thinking that I’m in the clear after speaking to this nice lady at the desk who does their 3rd shift, but on Tuesday I was charged $148.05 and this was drafted out of my account even with my card locked. I called and spoke with the front desk manager on Tuesday and she was slightly dismissive about the entire situation and offered no solutions but only said “OH YEA THATS WHAT YOUR GONNA HAVE TO DO, TAKE THAT UP WITH YOUR BANK” well that was rude and unprofessional honestly. Although the location was nice and the agents were nice, the fact that this manager didn’t seem interested in helping fix my situation, I will never...
