Since they have moved down the street on 138 this location has got my order wrong almost every time. I’m not ordering some complicated order either. It’s just the regular combos add cheese add bacon or upsizing my fries or mac & cheese or drinks or any free items that I redeem with my points. I have teenagers and the best option is Chick-fil-A off of 138 or SO I THOUGHT! If one 1️⃣ order is wrong that’s ehhh but when you go there 2- 3 times a week and most of those orders are wrong, missing items and the wait time Is always over 10 mins! it starts adding up .I’ve done gave away over $100 at Chick-fil-A not getting my bacon or cheese added to my sandwiches not getting my large macaroni and cheese with my combo meals. when it’s a large that Cost $14+ for a spicy chicken sandwich meal with a large mac & cheese . Don’t get me started on my free items that I’ve earned with my points and I redeem my points for a fry or a sandwich and I never get the free item and it’s not a free item. I’ve earned that with money from previous purchases. The Conyers store never answers the phone so when you call him BEN HARDY to talk to HIM OR ANYONE, you get someone who’s not even at that location who then tries to call the Conyers store and tells you they’re not ABLE TO GET AHOLD OF THEM EITHER .This has happened over 50 times this year! sometimes I don’t call because I’m tired of calling. I’m tired of writing. I’m tired of it being wrong. I’m tired of all of the politics that go into getting it corrected, wasted gas and you think I learned my lesson and stop going but my teenagers love it and considering that maybe the healthiest option out of McDonald’s, Burger King Arby’s, etc. I was on the phone for 15 minutes waiting to talk to the Conyers store manager Ben Hardy because he messed up my order after he; himself had me pull to the parking spot that I didn’t even know Chick-fil-A had a drive-through waiting parking spot so I pulled there waited and they still got my order wrong. I don’t have a big order. It’s literally three combo meals and one side item and there’s no special request. I don’t wanna come back. I want my order right the first time and the times I don’t call. It’s just racking up a negative total that’s owed and I already think I’m paying enough for Chick-fil-A. Here is my greasy receipt from my order today added below. It’s worth the drive if you’re thinking about another restaurant to eat over the frustration and neglect this restaurant will...
Read moreSo I have relatives who work for Chickfile corporate and I'm a huge Chickfile fan. When I travel I almost always go to Chickfile for lunch/breakfast and no matter how busy Chickfile provides the best quality fast food and service of any other chain I've been to. That being said, this location is terrible. Don't get me wrong I haven't had a single bad experience and now I'm pissed, no I've been to this location a couple dozen times over the past few months (I work nearby). I have had specifically 6 bad experiences in which my orders were messed up. Either I got the wrong food or parts of the order were incomplete (no bacon on my last club sandwich) or the chicken itself tastes... weird.
In addition to that, unlike every other location I've ever been to, the staff can't seem to keep up with the smallest most minimal crowd. I've been at chickfile locations in which the traffic is wrapped around the restaurant almost twice over and I STILL get my food quickly (unbelievably good). A couple nights ago I was at this location and there were only a few cars in the parking lot and a couple cars in the drive through and there were 3 cars who had to pull over to wait (as well as myself) for an unusually long amount of time for them to finish the orders.
The staff is somewhat friendly and yet they don't seem to care that much. I was at a different Chickfile location recently and it was wall to wall with people. I felt bad for the staff because they were so busy but I was amazed at how fast/hard they were all working and when I paid for my food the guy ringing up my order said 'Sir are you having a good day?'. I was astounded. Somehow this guy STILL found time to be pleasant even during the chaos of that lunch hour. This location can't seem to get into high gear and be efficient.
Again, I have intentionally taken time to go to this location multiple times to see if this is a pattern or if I just had a single bad experience and I'm not saying this to dis Chickfile. I personally hold Chickfile to a higher standard because they seem to hold themselves to a higher standard. I would expect this level of service from BurgerKing or some other crappy chain but this level of service makes me angry for all the other people who are working so hard to make Chickfile what it is today and to uphold the well-earned reputation that it has as THE best...
Read moreI decided to walk in and get my food to go since it looked like the drive through was backed up.
Inside, there were 5 people in line including two chic fil an employees and myself. There was only 1 person at the registers. I noticed that the person at the register was taking an enormous amount of time getting her customer a cup of coffee. She seemed to linger at several places around the coffee machine until some of the other employees had verbal exchanges with her. I also noticed that the next customer in line had to repeat his order 3 times because she just wasn’t listening. She didn’t seem flustered or overwhelmed at all. In fact, she had a huge smile on her face and spoke in a pleasant tone. She behaved like she was high as a kite.
As we all waited, I noticed a kid in street clothes come in and walked behind the counter and casually begin chatting with the other workers while he punched some keys on one of the registers. I recognized this person because when I parked my truck I looked down into the vehicle next to me and noticed him using a vape pen with all the windows up and stooped low towards the floorboard. I assume because he didn’t want to be seen. Now he was clocking in for work and casually chatting with everyone behind the counter while we all watched and waited to be helped.
When I finally reached the register, the young lady spoke quickly and incoherently. I answered her incorrectly because I hadn’t understood what she was asking. And so the exchange began.
Eventually, I left with my food. 2 minutes later I bit into a cold chicken burrito and honestly, wasn’t surprised.
My immediate and possibly incorrect conclusion about this experience is that this store is so poorly managed, it allows stoned children with poor communication skills and no self awareness to operate its facility on the busiest day...
