I went to this store on the first day it opened - check out registers crashed. I kept my cool considering it’s the first day and kinks have to be worked out. On the third day I went back, and yes….you guessed right - problems at check out again. Hmmmm, is this a pattern? Next visit had a return item, and replacement, but decided to check the remaining boxed items for chips before taking it home. My assistant was a big, lazy kid, who was simply there for a pay check and not for customer service. All remaining three items were chipped and had to settle for the best since a job was in progress (no discount). Had another return. Hopefully by now the reps are supposed to know the customer’s purchase history is in their system. Noooo, she asked, “do you have your receipt?” I responded, it’s in your system - I’ll give you my phone number. Next visit, at check out, the rep asked email or printed receipt. I said no receipt. She’s attending to me and talking candidly to her coworkers. The result: she closed the register draw without giving me my change, started asking around for someone to come with a key, eventually got the draw opened, and still gave me a printed receipt.
I am appealing to the manager of this location. Please, please, don’t allow this location to go down before it’s up to where it needs to be.. Train your employees in good customer service. Screen the people you are hiring thoroughly. Help lift this community up, don’t tear it down with substandard services. Read moreI put an order in on 4/02/2023. We were told that one of the tiles that we wanted had to be special ordered. So, that was understood to be ordered that same day. It's been two weeks and we were told yesterday that that particular tile was not ordered. So, they stated they put the actual order in yesterday. However, I received no confirmation number that the order was actually placed. Also, We weren't notified at all about this issue with this tile order. My contractor and I have been getting the run around from the store. One manager stated that the distribution center is in savannah and would take two weeks. Another manager told me that the nearest store that has it available is in Florida and it would be a week before it arrived! I am not confident at all that they have my best interest in making sure this matter is handled appropriately. This negligence has cost me more out of pocket because it's pushing my project further out than it is suppose to be. Like 1000's of dollars. I asked for some type of compensation to have the order expedited or to be reimbursed a fair amount for this huge inconvenience.I was told that they can not expedite shipping and they offered to reimburse me back only 100 bucks! I'm highly disappointed in this store and their customer service and ability to resolve this matter fairly on behalf of the customer that spends their hard earned money at this establishment. Read moreI had the most amazing customer service experience with Angela R. I went to a different F&D location but they didn’t have what I needed in stock. I called the Conyers location and was lucky to have Angela answer my call. Not only did she ask for the product info, she looked it up and then went to check to make sure it was in stock. Checking to make sure it was there was the absolutely best showing of customer service as often times inventory lists are not accurate. Angela guided me on how to make the purchase online, sent me the invoice and ensured I received it while still on the line. I paid it, drove over (it’s a 45 minute drive from my home) and picked up my order. I decided to find a manager so I could leave praise for Angela. As I approached a women she said “Hi Melissa, I’m so glad you were able to pick up your order”. It was Angela. What a treat. I didn’t get to speak to a manager as I needed to run out but I will certainly be shopping F&D Conyers again. I let Angela know we have some upcoming renovations happening and I will gladly call on her for assistance. Thank you making this process seamless Angela.
