I actually used to work here . I’ll give the truth . So a few things . The management is extremely toxic . Like they will talk to you ANY kind of way but if you defend yourself, “you’re “ the problem. The majority of the servers are 23 and younger . I am 35. Old enough to be some of their mothers, and will not accept being talked to in a condescending or demeaning way.
They promote from within, but many of the managers are on average age 25Ish and honestly don’t like to actually manage. So, if you have a problem, they almost refused to go over there and greet the guest even though in the training manual, it says to consult a supervisor and they will go over there.
However, there are a few exceptions to this , Ron seems to actually care about his employees. Also , Roman is amazing. He can tell you what to do, but the way he speaks to the employees as with kindness and respect which makes you wanna do a better job.
John is a little bit in between it depends on what day it is.
And Myda - the GM is actually really cool and seems to genuinely care. And however, she needs to do a better job at training her managers because they are rude and condescending. Fortunately, for me I have a another job, but I couldn’t imagine being in a position to where I had to depend on Pluckers as my only source of income, because they will take advantage of that.
They take being clean very serious, and we had to wash our hands. Every time we came into the kitchen area.
The wing baskets were more rents than washed so those could probably be done better.
Overall you will make money if you work here I made an average $150-$200 a night. However the culture is extremely toxic. They preach teamwork but majority of the younger staff spend the night looking for whose “job” something is rather than just getting it done.
I actually bumped heads with a server because she was mad I was doing other people’s “job”
The cooks are amazing and they do a great job.
Make sure to tip your servers cause I promise they are going through hell...
Read moreCarlos Rodriguez, the hostess at this location is by far the most judgemental person against people with disabilities. Myself, husband, and daughter came to this location because we heard their wing were good. Walking into the door with our obvious service dogs. We asked for patio seating because of them. He immediately asked for our masks. According to guidelines if you are under 10 or have a medical condition masks are not required. Having service dogs, it should be known we have medical disabilities. He not only illegally asked to see our "medical card" to prove we have a medical disability. As we tried to explain the laws of the ADA, he was arguing with us. When we asked him if he even knew what the ADA was-he said NO! So this genius was arguing about something he knew zero about. This Carlos KID also stepped to my husband like he was going to try something and the manager had to intervene! The amount of disrespect was appalling! Then, a waitress by the name of Amber continued to stare, give dirty looks, point and run her mouth to other employees about us. Their were even other customers there standing up for us! We have NEVER been discriminated against and this is by far the worst feeling of anger and rage I have had. We decided to stay and eat because we drove 30 miles just for this food. But we will never come back to a place that is so discriminate! This sickened me! The managers were apologetic but I am sorry those employees deserved to be fired and I hope after my call into corporate they will be! And to be honest, the food was not worth the drive. All around a...
Read moreAfter three times of being turned away due to long wait times my girlfriend and I decided to join the yelp waitlist and get some wings. Once I showed up at my designated time of 6:32 I pull out my phone and see a notification that I had been removed from the waitlist, I go to the hostess and she rudely tells me that they have a “3 minute grace period” which is never advertised at any point on yelp or any of the text I had received, I assume this is something she just said because we don’t look like the rest of their clientele, Once I checked to see when I was removed from the waitlist to see if this grace period timeline added up it turns out I was removed at 6:27 FIVE MINUTES BEFORE I was supposed to check in. Once we questioned the hostess about this she magically got us back on the waitlist and seated. Despite our abysmal check in process we decided to still eat there, I wish we hadn’t. I was served wings with broken bones sticking out of them, this isn’t the first time this location has served me something like that, and it took 30 minutes to get a bottled beer. On top off all of this when I asked to put a playoff hockey game that was on ESPN 2 on I was told they don’t get that channel yet they have every other obscure sports channel and even had mls playoffs on FS2, so I know they get ESPN 2. Worst experience ever at a pluckers.
On top of all of this in previous visits I have been double charged and served food with feathers still on them absolutely unacceptable. If you want a good sports bar take your business literally...
