Some of these reviews have to be fudged. I was there for a while and had my car broken into three times. The water is always being turned off to fix the old pipe system. The bathroom and kitchen seems have been design for the lollypop kids in the Wizard of OZ. The walls are thin so you can hear everyone. The bottom section of wood around my living room window was covered in black mold from the condensation on the glass and was rotting. I was always spraying it with bleach. The apartments were built in the early 1960s and need to be torn down. In my a opinion keeping the Fountain Apartments around is like putting a lot of makeup on a dead person and saying everything is okay. Also, even if you are a clean person like me that wont really matter, for in the spring and summer you need to get ready for the invasion of fire ants and roaches. I actually put a pair of jeans on one time and I was stung seven times. Lastly, every time we had a very bad storm the top section of my patio door would drip with water. Skip this place, there are better apartments out there and maybe less expensive. Good luck and I hope the best for you.
Side note: The review below mine is in my humble opinion is bogus. It is not a quiet place! It is so close to Central Expressway that the sounds of honking from cars and eighteen wheelers wake you up an night. Put in the address 10004 Regal Park Lane Dallas, Tx for yourself and see it. Read morePlease be aware!!! We moved out in May of 2024 and we have yet to receive our refund from the deposit. When reaching out to the property manager, who I’ve not had any issues with until now, she billed me for the wrong unit and said I wouldn’t be receiving anything. After looking over photos, it was clear that wasn’t damage for our apartment. We also lived there for 3 years and was being billed for normal wear and tear which is illegal in Texas. We did come to an agreement, and I was supposed to receive a refund of 160.05 after the agreed charges were made. We have not received anything at all and it is now December . Not to mention we have called several times for weeks and no response. We moved due to a roach infestation that was not treated or brought up to us. Apparently one of the buildings had an infestation, and instead of them being proactive and treating each building, they didn’t inform the residents. We lived with roaches for a 1.5 years and we had to leave! The building is old and dated, and not worth the break ins. Someone actually came upstairs to my patio and stole shoes and my son’s bike…. We have offered a slight rental increase at the end of our first lease expiration with the upgrades bring completed in baths and kitchen.
We have seen, from the exterior, the cabinetry and countertops and upgrades are can't wait our unit to have the changes made. The new model is complete and our old management office has been converted into a work out facility. Lovely equipment. Can't wait to use it!
