We arrived at 1:30, in the afternoon. Room not ready. Just prior to check in, the hotel suffered a power outage. When they finally checked us in, the room we reserved was not available and we had to wait till 4 PM for our room to be ready. Once inside the room, we discovered the room we reserved for 6 people, wasn’t provided to us. Instead of a full sleeper sofa, it was a single trundle. We also called down for two pillows, but they only had one pillow in the entire hotel. My wife went to the front desk to complain, and the front desk staff, Elizabeth, was rude from the beginning. Before my wife even identified herself, she greater her with a sarcastic “pillows?”. How did she know we were the people from the room with the pillow issue? Next, when We described the issue with the room, not accommodating our party size, she responded with “hmmmmmm”, rolled her eyes and just stared at my wife. We had to ask her to fix the mix-up, after asking her several times, where she would like to sleep my 6th person. After she called her manager, she offered to charge me for an additional room. The hotel wanted to charge me for an extra room to accommodate my party, when we had already paid for a room for 6 and was not provided with it. She removed her name tag and refused to give us her name. Even another guest in line asked for her name and was not provided with it. We had to ask the morning staff for her name. We were also denied speaking to a supervisor, and we asked several times. She eventually went to the hotel next door for pillows. We had to ask again for linens for the couch. I’ve stayed at many Marriott hotels, but this was HORRIFIC. Hotel was beautiful. The staff was extremely rude and condescending. Upon calling corporate, we discovered our reservation was modified to say 5 people. No doubt untrustworthy staff trying to cover their tracks, when they were told we would be filing a complaint. Thankfully, I have the original email confirming our party of 6. It has been three days since we checked out and we are still waiting to hear from the...

The staff is extremely rude and simply do not care they charged my card for multiple nights I knew something was wrong when the lady kept going back and leaving the front desk I even asked did you charge me for another night ? She responded no no sorry I was just checking something I needed up finding out my bank account was taken for all the money I had for the trip by trying to take my kids out to eat and getting declined so of course I went to check my bank account and I had no mo ey left and it was charged bye this hotel so thankful that I only live in the town over or we wouldn't haveade it home so when I went to confront them they laughed it off returned my money but sadly it takes 7 days to get back so we ended up having to cut our staycation short for our kids sense we had nothing and all they did was hand me a free drink card for one free beer ok ...... But the bar wouldn't except it and the first room they put us in our bedding was soak and wet so we had to pack up and move. Not easy with 4 kids or they offered us to make the bed ourselves . They also are not friendly to disabled people who require working service dogs to live normal lives as we have one for a child with seziures this dog is a life line and they treated us awful very sad it was our first vacation sense covid and it was just ruined by the rude staff and the fact they used my carded and charged us for more stays then what we paid for online with hotwire I wouldn't recommend this to anyone it's awful and I never ever leave a review and I hate sounding like a Karen but this was unacceptable on...

Do NOT stay at this SpringHill Suites. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member/VISA holder and stay probably monthly at a Marriott property. The front desk was less than friendly the entire stay; but then I got charged $40 at checkout for makeup on wash clothes (you know the things you use to wash your face) which has never happened at any hotel, ever. I explained that 1) this never happens 2) hotels use white linens so they can bleach for this purpose 3) it will literally rinse out. The manager told me it wouldn’t. I told her to bring me the towels as I would be there for 30 minutes anyway while my husband finished a conference call.

The housekeeping staff did bring down the towels after about 15 minutes (snickering at me during the process) and I did the job of washing the laundry in a bathroom with an automatic faucet (not a washing machine, laundry detergent or bleach) the manager reluctantly agreed to refund $35 for the bath towel and one washcloth but charged $5 for another washcloth which I took pictures of that has a faint mark that if you know laundered in a machine, with bleach/detergent would likely come out.

Let’s bear in mind that they didn’t apologize that I was indeed right and it did wash out- or rather rinse as I didn’t have access to detergent or bleach. They didn’t state they were “wrong”….nothing.

Do yourself a favor and stay at the attached Hilton instead if you’re heading...

ROOM: It's a Marriott, so it's refurbished in modern Marriott. Clean and comfy. Only problems we had were (1) our room overlooked the (indoor) pool, so there was a bit of chlorine aroma when we arrived, (2) the glass panels between the desktop and the bed rattled every time you did something on the desk or walked by the bed, and (3) the really annoying fluorescent light alongside the desktop could be turned off but only at the cost of turning off the desktop lamp. SERVICE: Front desk was friendly and helpful. LOCATION: Not in old Deadwood, but not too far away from the strip. There is a $2 shuttle to take you up into town. FOOD: The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard Marriott, though the paper bowls and coffee cups seemed on the small side. ETC.: Adjacent to Cadillac Jack's for your must-do-right-now gambling needs, as well as some food service. We got a list of discounts for the hotel, Cadillac Jack's (and its restaurants), and some other places in town. We parked on-site, which involves some u-turns and such to get over to where the basement garage is located. NET-NET: I don't see myself revisiting Deadwood again, but if I did, I'd certainly have the SpringHill Suites on the list.

Just want to thank Jackie for her wonderful service. Had a few request to make our trip special for my boyfriend birthday weekend. Purchased the Date night package for $100. Couldn't thank her enough for the vouchers and chocolates from Chubby Monkey. Was very delicious 😋 view was amazing, adult time in pool was relaxing & quiet, free breakfast, casino was cool, connected right to the hotel so you can just walk right over, underground parking. Would recommend anyone to get a room here!! Update review: be careful when parking under garage, they have a ledge that comes down too much and cracked my back windshield when reverse parking,i was still way poked out as well, i think for safety of other vehicles they should put a sign that says no reverse parking for these types of vehicles, at least in that spot. I did a report, the hotel offered nothing, no discount on the room, and it was our last night there and first time visiting deadwood. I csnt say ill be back to the hotel but ill definitely be back to visit deadwood again.

Love the rooms here for the price! Especially love the amenities. From the shampoo/conditioner and shower gel provided (high quality), the water gets hot fast, theres good water pressure. It's the little things! I love that the fitness room is 24/7. The room was very clean. The front desk staff was super nice and helpful. I stayed here for work but would come back just to know that I would be staying at a place where I feel taken care of. There is a parking fee to park your vehicle on site. The front desk gladly waived that for me since I took a lyft to get to the hotel. I really like all the plug ins in the rooms, and the little reading lights are awesome! For visitors who has not ever been here, this is one of 3 hotels in the same building. There are also restaurants throughout the building. Nice that you dont have to go far to get a bite to eat.
