My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in this brand spanking new hotel in its first week of operation in mid-July. As one could imagine, there were some rough spots but we felt the friendly and caring staff were doing all they could to make our stay enjoyable. Location at the lower section of Main Street was excellent - just off all the hubbub and action of the main downtown section of Deadwood but an easy walk to get there when you want to. We especially liked the exceptionally high ceilings that gave our room and the whole hotel a very airy feel. It also met our most important criteria - it is pet friendly. Rooms are on levels 2,3 and 4 with the parking garage at street level. Our favorite spot was the open air deck overlooking Main Street where we could enjoy a drink and watch ax throwing lessons and a chainsaw artist at work just across the street.

Stayed here over Thanksgiving and couldn't have been more impressed with every aspect of our stay! Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Brandon made our check in simple and friendly and during the football games on Thanksgiving day, Chase the bartender made our experience awesome and our team won! As locals, my husband and I try to stay at each of the establishments in Deadwood at least once so we can advise our friends and family as to the best place to stay. Hands down, this place is number one in Deadwood. We had such a great stay during Thanksgiving that we've already made reservations to stay over Christmas and watch more football games thanks to everyone at Four Points for an awesome experience. Cannot comment on the food as we did not eat here.

I spent one night here over Memorial Day weekend. This hotel is ideally located at one end of the historic main street. I parked in the free municipal lot three blocks away and avoided the expensive indoor parking at the hotel. Breakfast was not included with the room but I was better off without what was on offer here. The gym is exceptional and I had it to myself. My room was huge and super clean. I'm glad I didn't have any issues as they don't appear to have night staff dedicated to problem solving, referring guests to contact the overnight staff at the hotel next door.

Overall we enjoyed our stay! We were there 5 nights and the king size bed was very comfortable. Our stay was from April 16th - April 21st. This appears to be just outside of the tourist season and we didn't have any parking issues. The parking area that you pay $19.95 a night for is VERY small though so I can see how during busy times, it would be a big problem. We asked and getting a parking pass doesn't guarantee that you will have a spot. You can tell them though if you didn't have a spot and they won't charge you for that day, at the end. The room was mostly clean, but there was a pill of some sort on the floor and a couple hairs in the shower, nothing I couldn't get pass. This is a newer hotel so I was VERY surprised how terribly thin the walls were. I am not talking "hotel noises" that we are used to, slamming doors etc. I am talking I could hear our neighbor snoring! That thin! The hotel doesn't provide free breakfast but has a small breakfast restaurant on the second floor. It is supposed to be open at supper too but never was while we were there. It was good food but there were only a handful of options and it was very pricey. We had fun at the casino, and my husband even won a hot seat! The staff were VERY friendly and eager to answer questions. The don't offer daily room cleaning unless you ask, and we felt funny asking so that took a bit away from our relaxing as we had to keep getting our own supplies, dumping trash, etc. When I did finally ask for service, they only replaced towels and took the trash. Not sure if there was a communication error or what. We would stay here again, if off season, but probably wouldn't...

The positives: the king room is large and comfortable. The bed was also verycomfortable. A mini fridge and microwave worked well for small purchases from the grocery store.||Negatives:|We stayed three nights. The photos show the cleanliness of the shower upon arrival. I called to ask housekeeping to clean the shower. I was told the next morning it would be addressed. Late morning I called again and was told they were aware of the situation and it would be addressed. Early afternoon I went to hotel registration and again asked about the cleaning and asked that the whole bathroom be cleaned but other areas of the room were fine. We arrived back to the room about 2:30. The pink mold had been scrubbed off but nothing else in the bathroom was cleaned. The floors still had buildup of hair and mystery crud at the corners. I again contacted the front desk and asked for the bathroom to be entirely cleaned. it was eventually taken care of but I did not shower until it was done. ||After checkout, we learned we were charged for parking. We did not park in the structure. At the suggestion of the desk clerk, we parked at the welcome center. Our truck is too large to fit in the parking spots in the structure. We called and it appears the charges will be reversed. It has not shown on our credit card as yet, but I trust it will be taken care of.||This property is very slow to respond. Check your bill. If not for these issues, we'd stay again. The location is convenient. There is a mini food court in the casino area and a Starbucks as well. Coffee is also offered in the hotel lobby in...

The good....|So much to say that was positive! The hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. The location was superb--easy walk to everything in town (granted town is not huge) and zero noise from the street despite the fact that our window faced the casino across the street. Parking was easy--had access to both covered and uncovered parking.||Staff did a nice job--we had the opportunity to witness first hand two encounters with grumpy guests and in both cases, the staff were great. The first person clearly had way too much to drink and when he became overly verbally aggressive, the bar tender shut him down and got him out of the bar safely. The second was someone who was clearly trying to pull one over on the front desk staff and they graciously guided him along the path to an honest solution.||The folks at the bar/restaurant were lovely--helped me whenever I needed something.||Room was clean and the two balconies off the lobby were great places to wind down after busy days.||One more remarkable surprise was the dinner we had at Snitches, the restaurant attached to the Casino. It was stunningly delicious--creative, fresh, very reasonably priced!!||The bad|Ok--maybe not "bad" but the breakfast was only fair. We ate it only once. There was a mix of hot and cold items but not too impressive. I heard that there was a kitchen problem so I imagine that they are working on a solution.||The ugly|Nothing ugly at the hotel at all. We had a few odd service snafu's in town but these had nothing to do with the hotel and they should...
