I have eaten here many times in the past and never had an issue until today - went in and ordered, the cashier was extremely cordial and professional - about halfway through my order being made, another employee that I happen to know from around town came back from a restroom break, recognized me, and immediately went over to the employee making my sandwich. They exchanged words, both of them looked directly at me, smiling and laughing. I saw the employee use their left gloved hand to wipe their nose/face, and didn't change their gloves, which is disgusting.
Then, the other employee who wasn't making my sandwich took one of the two sandwiches behind a corner where I could no longer see it - completely different from my normal ordering experience where I can see them making the sandwich from start to finish. Huge red flag - why would you need to take my sandwich around a corner where I can't see what's happening to it?
I went up to the cashier and requested to cancel the order - again, very nice guy, understood where I was coming from, and did his best to work with me. He did not know how to issue a refund because of a new POS system, and provided me a manager's phone number to follow up - however, the phone number he provided matches the number of the guy who was just messing with my food.
I have almost never doubted the integrity of my food at any restaurant I would go to, and I certainly can't confirm that my food was being tampered with, but I've never had a stronger gut feeling in my life that something was being messed with and that's not a good feeling to have.
Maybe this is only something locals would have to deal with, but keep a close eye on the workers making your sandwich because it seems like they're not above being vindictive. Super disappointed with my...

After waiting for 20 minutes my husband went to check why it's taking so long. The teanage boy told him that the other person took our food. Mind you, we watched this kid hand them what was our food. They opened up the sandwiches and touched them. They took them back up to the counter and told them they were the wrong ones. The kid turns to my husband and hand the bag to him. My husband said no I won't take this after someone else touched them. The kid so I have to make new ones. My husband said yes. The kid turned and started working on orders. Another 15 minutes past and I went up to the counter. There were 5 people in the kitchen and not one of them would acknowledge me. Finally the kids said you're waiting on your food. I said yes for over 45 minutes now. He said well it's not my fault the other person took your food. I said yes it is, you handed it to him and didn't even ask him what his order was. You just gave it to him. This kid took his gloves off and walked out. Still not one of 4 others would help me. Finally after waiting longer a lady came to the counter and headed me a bag and walked away. There was no management around to speak to. Read moreWhere to start. We were greeted by someone that didn't work at the restaurant first. This person didn't know the register I'll add in. Why there was someone alone taking money's from customers is beyond me. We ordered a large combo, originally asked for wedges and they only had tots. We chose 2 tomato soups for the sides. We slowed it down for her. Told her a large combo with 2 soups... Only to have to ask for the receipt she was trying to throw away... Looking at the receipt, she charged us for 2 sandwiches and 2 sides... That's not what we ordered..... We ordered a combo, large. We didn't even get a large drink. After examining the receipt, we realize this error and ask for it to be fixed and we find out there's no manager and no one can do anything about it.... So we got over charged and left with our small drink only to be followed by an employee to our car while we're trying to leave. That was an uncomfortable situation, considering it was cold outside and the only thing they did, was further the frustration of explaining what the person did wrong, but we already knew what she did and we were trying to get it fixed....
