I was walking around historical Deadwood on 6/29/2021 around 5pm with my family! I saw a wine tasting here sign, and being the wine lover that I am, I decided to step in for some tasting and the experience. I stood there for around 10 minutes. There were two women working with other customers. They both made eye contact with me, but said nothing and made no other effort to acknowledge I was there and waiting. A simple, “we’ll be right with you,” would have been warmly welcomed. After waiting for ten minutes, I turned around to walk out, at which point A CUSTOMER offered to help us. Still nothing from the two women working at the time. This was a disappointment, as I love the wine tasting environment. I was also looking forward to purchasing the local wine. Walking in, the two lovely ladies greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel at home. I was drafted into trying not one, but two of the wine flights. Both were more delightful than the one that was served before. Given a in depth description of the wines as I wetted my lips, I was delighted with what I was indulging in. They say Money buys Happiness, but in this case money bought me time away from the crowds of Deadwood with two of the most delightful people you could ever meet. A must stop when...
