Deadwood Chamber of Commerce — Local services in Deadwood

Spent a week at the deadwood nites. Participated in the poker runs and was at the announcement for the winners. The place was packed and noisy and there was confusion from the staff about when and where the announcements would be made. We heard our name called but couldn’t get to where the prizes were within 2 seconds and our prize was given to someone else. After spending 5 hours participating and spending money to participate to find out we won only to not win because of miscommunication, noise, and a poorly thought out process was very disappointing. To all out there this event isn’t worth the money you end...

Definitely not the chambers fault but frustrated by the lack of dinner options on a monday at 8:00. Every high end dinner place was filled and serving stopped at 9:00. Wait lists exceeded the 9:00. One Restaurant had to close early to prep for the next day. Some were only open on the weekends. Not once did I hear it was a staffing issue.. but perhaps. But we were excited for a night on the town. Mustang Sally’s were the only place in town, many people frustrated by the options. Mustangs tried their best but just not satisfying to everyone. Will think again before planning a night...

We love Deadwood and go there all the time. We are very frustrated however, by the poor cell phone service. Please put in another tower. This has been going on for several years and needs to be remedied. Deadwood is only getting busier. It is so hard to make contact with anyone in your party, get a taxi, etc. without cell...
