The Seagate Beach Club — Hotel in Delray Beach

The service at the pool was subpar for the prices. The food inside was great, service inside was great. The beach was nicely kept and the service at the beach was lovely. I will avoid the pool bar next time. I prefer good service when paying those prices so I’ll go to the areas where service matches the cost. We will continue to return; maybe one day the bar outside will join the level of service the rest of the staff lives up to. I wish I could remember his name, taller male. I will not use the outdoor bar area if he’s tending that day. Otherwise, we’ve enjoyed coming here for the last year and will continue to do so. And the new restaurant at the hotel is top notch....

This past weekend my husband and I went to the Seagate for our 27th anniversary celebration. It had been a very stressful week because my FIL was in the hospital. When we got to the hospital we were pleasantly surprised that they upgraded our room to a junior suite. The room was beautiful and they left us a beautiful note and a bottle of Vueve Champagne (my favorite) and strawberries. It was such a sweet gesture and made our 24 hour celebration complete. We enjoyed the pool at the beach club, the drinks were delicious and refreshing, and the shuttle to and from all the restaurants and downtown activities made the experience even better! We can’t wait to go back soon!...

We had lunch, I had the Fish and chips, it wasn't bad, wasn't great. Two small pieces of fried Cod, the french fries were cold. My husband had a Fish sandwich, Cajun style? No flavor and so much tartar sauce, way too much. Wasn't mentioned on the menu description. The coleslaw side was amazing. I had a pineapple style cocktail which was excellent. The view, ocean front, couldn't see much of the water due to trees and umbrellas in front of the restaurant. Oh well another missed opportunity to be great. The staff was excellent We don't complain, after all...
