They lock the gate here at 8.15 pm and it is still not dusk here like the sign says when they are supposed to lock the gates.They should fire the guy who locks cars in here . Not a good place to park to go to the beach.Another reason I don't like this place to much is every time I go here on the weekends to the beach you can not get a parking space.It is always sold out of parking spaces unless you go at an odd time like right before it get dark and the parking lot is ready to close you will then find one as everyone is leaving and you will have to because the park will be closing.I would go up to Lake worth if you want to go to beach because it is easier to find an empty parking space at busy times like on the weekends when everyone is...

As a woman visiting solo I didn’t find this location to be safe to use the facilities due to it being set back away from any traffic, there was a man loitering, and the park nor lot is monitored by anyone. I did use the facility anyway against my intuition, but moved my vehicle to the main road parking immediately after.
That said, if you’re not a woman visiting solo, the park is very quiet and serene despite being right by A1A. It would be a very relaxing place to spend the day doing a picnic with a friend or family. The restroom facility only had 2 stalls and are about what you would expect from a public park.
