This location is awful. Do not go here. Super rude owner. My phone was restarting periodically, so I went in. There was no rhyme or reason to the restarting. I could use it for hours and it would restart, I could use it for five minutes then it would restart. I needed to secure my battery. They charged me $58 to place tape and secure it. I have attached a photo below. When I got home, my phone was worse and was restarting every few minutes now.
I went back the next day and they opened my phone up again. The owner brought the battery out and was pulling on the connector saying it's probably a bad battery connector. They said I needed a new battery and that they would have to order it. They charged me another $70. I said I had an Asurion coupon for $20 off and the manager said he wouldn't apply it. When I asked why, he said he just didn't want to.
They put the same battery back and when I get home, my phone is worse - again! It is now not turning on at all. I call corporate to ask if I can go to another store. I tell them my situation and they are questioning why I was charged that much just to place tape.
I asked for a refund, and the owner Jimmy or Yimmy starts arguing with me, saying that he's trying to do me a favour and i'm taking advantage of him and he doesn't care about corporate because he's the owner. He said he had to charge me that for liability - even though before they even opened it up they said if they crack the screen or if any damage happens, I'd have to pay. So i'm not sure what liability he's talking about.

I made an appointment at Apple's Genius Bar in NYC because I was there for work and really needed access to a computer. They told me I would have to leave my laptop with them and hopefully they would be able to recover the data on my computer, but the diagnostics they ran showed some issues. Also, it would cost a few hundred dollars to repair. This wasn't an option since I was flying back to Florida the next morning. Apple said it was about that time to get a new laptop anyways, so I ended up buying a new computer. When I arrived back in Florida I brought my computer to uBreakiFix and explained the situation.
