What a wonderful experience after a dreaded diverted flight and not much help from American Airlines on 7/12/25-7/13/25. Checked in at 10pm and service was great from that point on. Explained when asked for water that the soda fountain (which has water) was unlimited which was awesome! The best part of my experience was the lady at front desk when I checked out (I got her name specifically for a review and of course forgot it). I checked out early to go to the airport in hopes to catch a flight. It was once again delayed so I called and the hotel and they allowed me to walk back over for breakfast. Once back there I had a great and filling breakfast wit lh plenty of options. As I was leaving I stopped to talk to front desk and she insisted I take a little more time and go to the meditation room and sit in the massage chairs before heading back to the airport. Such a wonderful experience after long travel. This hotel is great, clean, cozy, plenty of breakfast options, and the best part WONDERFUL STAFF! Nothing feels better than someone caring after a long night of getting the run around. Thank you so much for all of you at Best Western for making me feel a little more at home with your amazing hospitality! If I ever come through El Paso again and need a place to stay, I won't even think twice. Keep up the great hospitality ladies all 3 that I encountered are...
Read moreI took a solo trip to El Paso to visit a long-time friend who was stationed at the base. I searched high and low for a decent hotel and to my surprise, I found this Best Western with solid Yelp and Google reviews across the board.
The rates were affordable, so I booked it for a night as I traveling to NM by morning.
It was an 8-hour drive from Austin and I had arrived late, however, I was greeted with smiles from the front desk staff. There was plenty of parking since they shared parking with the next-door hotel. The room I received did not have much of a view, but a tree. It was fine since the room was clean and did not have a musty odor.
There was decor representing El Paso and even the headboard had an "ELP" graffiti mural on it which was a nice touch of character. I loved the bright lime green and the blue colors which added more charm to the room. It was modernized with a twist.
The bed slept comfortably soft as well as the pillows. I slept like a baby, to say the least.
Upon walking up in the morning, I got dressed to go downstairs for breakfast. I was shocked to find out that they had something that I could eat. I got a bowl, some bananas, granola, with Kikkoman Pearl Soymilk in vanilla and had a fulfilling breakfast.
I absolutely loved my stay at this Best Western! It was a pleasant experience and I honestly cannot wait...
Read moreThe location cannot be beat. You can literally walk to the terminal from the hotel in 6 minutes. The staff is very friendly, and doing their best.
But, there are some downsides. I found my floor (3rd) occupied by inconsiderate loud people, doing trashy things, like leaving their fast food bags of trash outside their room, talking loudly in the hallway, and allowing their doors to slam.
The sound insulation is really poor. There was a large gap under my door that let so much light in the room that I needed to mask it by placing a towel on the floor in front of it. The noise from the roadway was really loud, their windows provide very little sound insulation. The noise from adjacent rooms was a problem as well.
For a relatively new hotel, lots of things were in disrepair. Minor, but showing a lack of attention to detail in favor of being cheap. The door to the bathroom was hung incorrectly, the door knob metal "rose" wasn't attached to the door, trim along the bathroom tile floor was missing. Not major stuff, but still looks bad and leaves a poor impression. The toilet didn't flush properly, and the staff should have noticed that when cleaning.
Bed was comfortable, though, and there was adequate storage in the smallish room. Decor was nice. The price was competitive and fair.
