When we sat down, we saw other people being sat down as well. It took a long time for several of these people to be even asked for their drinks. We heard our waitress asking them for their drinks and apologizing for their server not being there with them. This kept our waitress from helping us. Anyway, I asked for 1 egg with extra cheese and a side order of hash browns. My husband's order consisted of hash browns as well. When our order came, I saw that the egg had no cheese and my hash browns were uncooked and my husband's were nice and toasted on top. Our waitress took my egg back and I switched hash browns with my husband. I had to eat them with a spoon because I was not provided with a fork. When the egg came back, it had 3 sprinkles of un-melted cheese on the top. When we were waiting in line to pay, a lady was checking her pick up order and saw that all the pancakes ordered were missing. When it was our turn to pay, I mentioned that we would not go eat there again because they make too many mistakes. She said, "Mistakes happen." Yes, one or two, but that day, there were too many for comfort. The hostess called her manager and she came and deleted the cheese from our ticket and said it very loud what she had done. Wow! she saved me 5 cents! I did not ask for her to waive any fees. Her tone of voice was not that of a professional; it sounded more like an insult or trying to embarrass me. Luckily, we still love Village Inn and we have been very happy with the rest, including the one...

I just want to let this be known, that the following review is in NO way shape or form in regards to the morning staff/crew. This particular crew is amazing and very responsive. This review is for the night staff. If I could give this restaurant and it’s staff 0 stars, I definitely would. First of all, the staff at night consists of snobby teenagers who have no customer service skills, and the same can be said for management at night. They absolutely suck at their jobs. Corporate should demonstrate customer service videos to their staff before they hire them. The wait time to even be acknowledged is horrible. You have to wait at least 35-45 mins to get your ONE drink and meal. I say “one” drink because they fail to give you a refill throughout your entire meal. The quality of the food is great. No complaints there. Also, beware to be racially profiled there. If you are any other race, besides “Anglo” be prepared to be ignored. The manager for the night shift seems to only recognize and be attentive to other white Americans. This restaurant and its staff need serious help. The only prompt response is them leaving the check on your table after serving you the meal. That to me, is outrageous! It pretty much says, “when you are done dining, go pay and leave”. I refuse to go back there, after numerous visits. I hope management and/or staff sees this review. I’ve already contacted corporate so hopefully they come down hard on...
