Don't care how good food is at any restaurant, If the service is as bad as this place!!!! Tried calling in to order got put on hold and forgot about! Wasn't greeted when we walked in stood there for 5 minutes before was recognized. Then after we where noticed and talked to, we told them we where needing a to go order. They proceeded to greet and set the next two (separate) groups of customers at a table then get them there chips and salsa and take their order. Two people after us got their food and ate before we even got our food. We sat at the bar waiting to get ordered not one person even offered us a drink then my father asked for a glass of water and never received it. You can tell that there was one manager three other young men and one lady that were working the restaurant floor. The female that was there proceeded to answer the phone and take an order on the phone while my father and I were in front of her and had been waiting 30 minutes to make an order. Wasn't her fault it was the manager's fault who sat there and he looked at us multiple times knew we were waiting and still proceeded to basically ignore us! We finally got our food after an hour wait. Restaurant customer service is very simple customers are treated with respect prompt service and are always to be recognized and noticed as soon as they walk through the door bye the management if their employees are working and can't. The ball was deflated deep fried and dropped by the management at Amigos!! Worst experience the whole time I was at...

Since moving to NW Arkansas from Texas, we'd yet to find a nice, family oriented TexMex restaurant replete with authentic cuisine and great margaritas. Our search is now over. As their name translates, Amigos is our new best dining friend with a menu full of the TexMex staples we grew up with. Pretty much everything comes with beans and rice as it should and comes from the kitchen so hot the cheese and sauces are still bubbling. Of course, it all begins with chips and salsa... the things that determine if it's real TexMex or an imposter. The chips are fresh and crisp from the fryer with just the right amount of oil residue and the salsa is hearty with just the right kick to spice things up. Adding queso and guacamole for dipping was a well rewarded decision as both tasted like they'd just snuck over the Wall. I had a margarita swirl and wife had margarita on the rocks. Both were delicious tequila transport vehicles to get us in festive spirits. For our entrees, I went with the Tres Amigos enchiladas and rice had the Los Tamales. Portions were ample and so delicious your sad to leave a single bite behind. All of this set in a decor that is homey and warm. With a beautiful 45 minute ride from our house, we'll be making Amigos a regular part of our dining schedule. In short, "Nosotros...

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time. BEWARE, there is no handicapped entrance, and you must climb a flight of stairs to access the restaurant. There is also no on-site parking. We were seated quickly and brought chips and a small bowl of salsa. The drink order was taken, but I asked for water and got soda. We ordered a flight of margaritas and two meals. We sat and watched people come in and be served their drinks and meals for over a half hour. Our own waiter brought drinks and meals out to customers that came in after we did. Our waiter would not look in our direction and did not return to our table after taking our order. After waiting another twenty minutes, we left. My husband stopped a manager/employee on our way out and explained our experience and why we were leaving. He said that he was sorry. A few words would have salvaged the evening. A simple explanation and apology, along with an offer of refills, from the waiter. An offer to seat us elsewhere and expedite our order, even as we were walking out the door, would have worked. I didn't get to try the food, so I can not...

Went for dinner on a Sunday while staying for travel. Was sat immediately. Location: in the downtown area, on a hillside (have to use stairs to get to). Parking nearby in lots (must pay to park unless after 5pm). GPS took us there. Atmosphere: pretty open. Well lit. Booths and tables available. Indoor/outdoor seating and outdoor features for entertainment. Popculture music. Appeared clean. Service: nice but a little unattentive even though it wasn't busy. Easy to order. Food: tacos, burritos, fajitaa, fajitas, enchiladas, chili relleno, salads, specialties, etc. I ordered the taco salad. It was good but they didn't give me all the items that came with it (i.e., sour cream and guacamole) so had to ask for it. Overall, good flavors. Salsa was good but was spicy for me (maybe jalapeno in it?). Prices: affordable. They also do an Ala carte menu if you don't want the rice and beans. I think my taco salad was around $11. Overall, a decent place. I would go again.

When I first moved to a Eureka, after living in Texas for over 4 years, I twitched on a regular basis for lack of good Tex-Mex. I simply couldn’t find my “fix” for Mexican food around here. Most of the places around lack seasoning and flavor. However, after making a few visits to Amigos in downtown Eureka, we have learned to really enjoy this place. It’s large, it’s clean, great decor, and an awesome little patio as well. They serve a mean margarita, and their flavors are incredible. I just recently learned to order their Salsa Verde, and the flavor that comes from that bowl is amazing! It’s awesome on chips, and even more awesome when poured over their great chicken enchiladas!!! Their cheese dip passes our test with thumbs up, and they have great, thin, crispy chips. This is quickly becoming a lunch favorite for us!!! You need to visit Amigos. They are located at 75 South Main Street in downtown... directly across from Cornerstone Bank!
