I would have given this store a 5 star except for some things.... I would've rated 1 star for the reasons below (because I truly get upset about it and maybe I'm letting my emotions get the better of me), but the employees there are very helpful, and the store is very neat (despite the traffic). They also manage to speed through the long lines that reach the door, which is very impressive when comparing to other Marshalls' I have been to where I have waited 30 mins or more for smaller lines.
I have gone to this store many many times to buy candles, colognes/ perfumes, socks, pet supplies, soaps of all kinds, lotions, oils, snacks, etc. which they have great selections of and I always have to fight the urge to buy everything!
It just sucks (and this is the part that kills it for me) that the men's dept is lacking. It seems like the only options are active wear and some dress wear and not a lot of options on top of that from what I have experienced đ«€ especially in my size. I'm a small in shirts and a 28 in pants and it's almost non existent on the racks compared to the other sizes. It's the same thing with underwears and tshirts for some reason, just a small selection for the smalls and the other sizes have a lot more to offer.
I expected to see cardigan options, dressy type jackets, ties, more options for pants and shorts like prints and styles and cuts. There is no sleepwear at all for men of any size! Nothing to relax into after a long day of living. Maybe pajama sets or adult onesies, that would be cool. Men like that stuff too, I promise!
All in all, I think it's a great store but just needs improvement for the men's...
Read moreThis is one of the worst Marshallâs and I shop at them (Marshallâs or tjâs) almost daily either in store or online. Itâs messy, all of the makeup is broken and the employees are rude. When I went to return something I purchased at another Marshallâs due to a mistake on the stores part- the item description on the tag was listed as a different brand then what it was (how was I supposed to know to check this when I bought it) they said I was unable to return it. Then the cashier (Marie Ann B) lifted it by the tag which ripped it off. Now I am unable to return it at all, even to the original location where I purchased it. So they were rude (both Marie and the front end coordinator) and implied that I put the tag on there which is why it came off so easily and they cost me the price of the item which I am now stuck with. I wouldnât bother with this location. They also pierce the clothing items with the sensor tags in locations that are not in the seam as they should. Items are left with holes in them right in the middle of pockets or shirt backs when the seam is only about an inch away and would not ruin the item. So basically your buying damaged goods. Check the item after they remove the sensor and note the placement to be sure youâre ok wearing something with a hole in it before you spend the money. Itâs not worth saving a few dollars, just shop online or pay a little more and go to Macyâs or saks off fifth for...
Read moreThe manager at this store is super rude. Has a nasty attitude. My cousin found a cute Halloween decoration but unfortunately it was damaged and it was the last one. We brought it up for the cash register, along with all the other things we bought, and she asked if they did any discounts on damaged items. The cashier was nice and said she would ask the Manager, she asked the manager and she walks up with an attitude, bothered that we had an issue and wanted to know if it could be solved. She walked alway with the item with an ugly face and attitude and took it and took about 8 minutes, then comes back with a new sticker and literally just took off a couple cents off the items and never spoke to us, never greeted us, didnât even explain the process. Just looked at us like she was annoyed to be there.
As we are walking out the store my baby saw some Marshalls balloon and I kindly asked if we were allowed to take one and the manger rolled her eyes sighed super loudly showing her annoyance and another employee said sure and took the ballon out of the sticks there were tapped together.
Itâs super sad to come to the store and be treated poorly by employees who donât want to work and ruin the experience for loyal customer who spend hundred of dollars year at these stores.
Marshalls really needs to something about these type of service. We felt so disrespected and...
