I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Chase at Office Depot. We drove 20 minutes to this location, as loyal members who have held an Office Depot card for a long time, expecting the level of service that aligns with the brand’s standards. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.
We came in to print some documents and had to wait a long time with no assistance. Chase was present but appeared to ignore us, focusing on other tasks instead of attending to customers who were clearly waiting for help. When we finally interacted, his attitude was unprofessional and dismissive. He made us feel like we were not valued as customers and that our business was not appreciated.
When we asked for convenient options to print our documents, Chase was unwilling to help in a reasonable way. He informed us we’d need to wait several hours unless we paid a 25% rush fee, which we understand is company policy. However, the way he communicated this was extremely rude and lacked any customer service skills. Instead of offering solutions or showing any empathy, his tone and demeanor were unprofessional, leaving us feeling frustrated and disrespected. This is not the first time we’ve experienced poor service at this location, but this incident was by far the worst. Chase’s behavior reflects poorly on Office Depot as a whole. If employees like him cannot provide basic customer service, they should not be in such positions.We sincerely hope Office Depot addresses this issue and ensures better training for their staff. Read moreI walked out of the store (Highland Ranch - Flower Mound, TX) for the second time today vowing that I'll never came back. The first time was several months ago and as soon as I entered the store a guy raised his voice at me and yelled "we are closing in 5 minutes". Then he ignored me. Not finding what I wanted, I left. Today I went in about 10:30 am and there were 3 young men standing behind the cashiers area talking to each other and looking at their cell phones. I was never acknowledged or assisted as I wondered around the store looking for some items for several minutes. I noticed that there were 3 other ladies doing the same thing and no one was offered any type of assistance. Agitated by this lack of customer service, I approached the young men behind the counter to ask them is their job was to assist customers. One said yes and I responded that he wasn't doing his job because there are at least 4 customers in the store and no one has offered to help any of them. I was then informed that he was a cashier and that I could just leave if I didn't like it. I assured him that I was leaving and he informed me further that if people asked for help he would give it. I asked him if that was the companies policy and he said it was. My response was that if the store keeps providing this level of service they can all go and get jobs at Amazon when the doors are closed for the last time. My experience in-store was good but the worst part was fulfillment of my order. I never received my order on June 8th, end of the day I got alert that driver was not able.tp locate my address and no one contacted me via phone or email. Everyday I receive deliveries from Amazon, UPS, FedEx with no problem. I contacted their customer service on June 9th, they changed my tracking number and committed June 9th for delivery. Today is June 11 and my order is missing and no one contacted me. When I call their CS, they ask me to do self service return request, how can I return it, if I don't have it?
